I have ferrets myself ste, i know the rabbits are living there, coz theres new holes every time i go up bud, It would be easy for me to take the ferrets and the shotgun and just bolt them and blast them, but i wanted a bit of a challenge lol Looks like you got yourself a challenge then millsy, best of luck with it, dont forget to let us know how you get on with them. i think A lamp one nite is on the cards . .atb. .ste.

Enjoyable read nice info and detail I could almost feel the rifle, this and a few other posts and a couple of dvd's I have seen recently have re-kindled something inside me and I have a feeling a nice springer maybe joining my pcp, hopefull get my supersport back of my grandad aswel, sometime next year, fixed and serviced, the gun was my dads and is a joy to shoot, the years have been kind to it, it looks good and shoots great, I can't wait to get it back. .atb. .ste. -
Hey millsy good shooting with our featherd friends, unlucky with bugs and co. I know shooting is your sport, but, have you considerd taking a mate with a ferret?, even if you only try one warren just to see if bugz is home, just a thaught, also it is a bit of fun I personaly thoroughly enjoy hunting by any means (legaly ofcourse ). Good write up mate, always nice to hear about what others are getting up to and seeing pics also. I think a midnight mooch may come up trumps .atb. .ste.

Just watched all 3 of si's dvd's, great shooting, some usefull info and more great shooting, all in all some great filming and shooting, 5 stars from me, also thare is a noticeable improvement from oldest to newest in editing, nice one si, looking forward to the next installment. The music at the end of the first one I watched scared the sh**t out of me when the sub blew the photos of the t.v lol, Well done si, (And what great permissions you have, and that dog of yours (zini) is ace , nice to see your lad getting in on it also . .atb. .ste.

Thanks mate, I will be collecting a live trap soon after Christmas, and have put ply board over slats for now so fox will not be able to grab his dinner, but it will make cleaning the run a bit of a pain in mean time, I dont snare so havent tested it myself, but, if your stuck for bait try a couple of pieces of k.f.c chicken, one lad I kno swears by it. .atb. .ste.

Nice shooting si, did that corvid ever drop from that ariel?? .atb. .ste. I have shot a squizzer witch stopped stone dead in the v of two branches and had to take a folow up shot to knock it down, then still couldent find it for the bushes, doh!

Well that policeman was right and to me it sounds like he was unsure his self or and quite likely he was a nice policeman and used his discretion to give you a few words of advice and send you on your way, either way you were lucky. That is a shame for you mate as you seem like a very sensible lad, on the plus side its a good excuse to get a lift to your permission, I realy hope that it dosent hinder your hunting mate. .atb. .ste.

These laws are about as clear as pig s**t, conflicting as it seems in some cases, I have regularly carried a rifle around befor I was 16, is this a new thing or have I just confessed to commiting a crime also?? .atb. .ste.

Hi mate I have a nikko scope and cant fault it mate, everyone seems to say they are robust and hold zero very well, also standing the test of time. A good review mate. .atb. .ste.

If your rifle is in a slip you can take it werever you want, also it must be unloaded and the mag must be empty. Thats what I think anyway, im sure someone will correct me if im wrong. Altho just make sure your not tresspassing to get to your permission because thats a whole different ball game. .atb. .ste.

Sory to go further off topic, but all shops selling the chrombo are stating that it is out of stock and the ones on ebay are fetching more than the shops sell them for because of this. Guess what im asking is does anyone kno where they are in stock?? .atb. .ste.

Cheers davy, that does look like a good site, wil a 3ltr be enough as £99 seems very reasonable, has anyone got any rough ideas on number of fills in relation to ltr and 300bar and 232bar? I kno there is a lot of variables tho making it not straght forward, just very roughly guys. . . .atb. .ste.

This is very true, you would usualy see a masacre in a chicken pen, foxes dont just take one for the pot normaly. And remember with a live trap you still have to have a legal means of dispatch. (To make sure your coverd) we all kno what happend to that guy that drowned a squirell. .atb. .ste.
