  1. Hi All, sorry about the poor state of the vid, been trying to get a vid of my lad bushing but it's nearly impossible, due to what they do, at the start he puts up a pheasant then at the end you can hear him yapping on some game, also my runner waiting for something to come out. Will keep trying to get a better vid. Thanks
  2. Had a job getting mine started but praise what you like ignore the bad stuff and what did it for mine was it caught a rabbit with myxomatosis at an early age (6 months) and has enjoyed doing the job since, good luck mate.
  3. Same dog as the pup pic on the 2nd post of this thread, has changed abit since that pic.
  4. Mine has never dropped to ground and he does know what's in there, works well with any dogs as he comes beating aswell, he was put off a while back when he pushed through a wasps nest and was covered in them, and he has remembered where it happened,
  5. I took my Patt at 6 months, still not retrieving but great in cover and with game to find it's a good training tool as they think something is in every blackthorn you send them. Great fun with an understanding keeper as they get abit headstrong when they flush a muntjac, hare, fox. Enjoy. Regards BM?
  6. This is the other Whippet from racing lines, the black one above is from coursing lines.
  7. Bitches usually taller, but saying that some of mike browns stuff is very tall, too tall really it's getting away from everything that's good about a whippet, you might aswell look for a small Grey bitch, a small whippet bitch 18" will have prey drive through the roof and be as good on rats as terriers and the best on Bunnys, mine don't do jumping you could teach them but when it goes wrong it's a trip to the vets, better to just lift them over or lift bottom of fence and teach them too go under,
  8. Hi Guys, I was at the above fair on Sunday and noticed the lads doing the falconry display had their trailer stolen, luckily I think only equipment taken, but never the less, still a great display just a thank you for a great display. Afew snaps.
  9. £3 for a cup of tea last year and I had to take my own tbag out, but apart from that loads of trade stands and the showing usually good is it ran by the coursing crew again this year.
  10. To big to dig too, more of a Busher.
  11. My Busher, no good on his own, runners defo needed.
  12. Nice little vid mate, must get out and vid mine.
  13. Have you got a photo bucket account.? Upload your pics to photo bucket then when you look at the pics copy the img code and paste it in your post on here, then when you post your pics will be in there. Simples.
  14. Beddy x whippet would be a good all rounder for you and also as mentioned a whirrer, ie. whippet x Terrier, but I think the beddy would have the better coat, let us know what you get fella.
  15. How heavy is it, is it for hogs.
  16. Nice dog fella, like the size and shape, strong head.
  17. Powerfully built looking dog, what's his temperament like.
  18. Now I know your not a great fan of my dog but he is out a lot, aswell as a days ferreting / mooching we often beat on a shoot and he will go all day with the cockers / ESS, seven is the most drives we have done but that's down to waiting for the guns to finish there tipple, he does crash when we get home but until then has the stamina to go all day. Regards BM
  19. I saw an article promoting the Plummer as the best method of catching these super rats, which will make them popular with breeders and there will be a lot of shit sold as plummers. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/388360/Rats-the-way-Champion-dogs-could-take-on-Britain-s-mutant-rodent-infestation
  20. My experience is with Whippets and most do have a heart condition your right, but have found some dogs (whippets) more subseptable to cough for a few days after a hard run, it goes after 3-4 days but also think it depends on dogs fitness aswell
