  1. Is he ped or no papers, do you know any of his lines, or worker to worker.
  2. You'll be hooked on them mate for Rabbiting, there's nothing compares.
  3. Have sent info, hope all goes well. Regards Bryan.
  4. He gets through that easy enough, do you find cover like that, being that it's in a wooded area tends to hold a lot of deer. atb daywalker. Mainly Muntjac in there, seen the odd pair of Roe but they tend to get out in the open, bushed a few muntjac from hedge bottoms surrounding the woods as well.
  5. My lad working some blackthorn today. Entry. http://youtu.be/Yvqd6eYIiAI Exit on other side. http://youtu.be/DTNoEwyHKzk
  6. Having not owned any other bushing dogs I can only comment on my own, he's strong, determined doesn't catch often, but if he does its usually the runners have cut off an exit and its hesitated and that's all he needs. If its tight cover he will crawl in and if he see or smells something he crashes through, I mean I can see where he is in blackthorn as its shaking, with him being vocal the runners position themselves accordingly, that's what they wait for his signal. He's about 16"tts and 13kg in weight, has been in the beating line and will go all day with no drop in enthusiasm.
  7. I've not got them, they are with a warden, but they think their workers so thought somebody on here might recognise them, long shot but might work.
  8. Found near Brightwells Loeminster.
  9. I got a Welsh that wont work for anything, not even the slightest bit interested, but he just tags along with us now.
  10. If you could take them somewhere that you know is holding bunnys it would get them all on the go for you.
  11. started taking him out with the runners from 12 weeks short walks and would reward him if he followed his nose in for a look, I think my lucky break was he caught a myxomatosis bunny when he went in at about 3-4 months old and that was the turning point for him, he had abit of a set back this summer when he went through a wasps nest, that really rocked him as he thought I was causing the pain he was experiencing, where I take him their is a lot of cattle so if he isn't being chased by wasps its electric fences, that really upsets him, but the thought of catching something usually wins in the e
  12. Took him out a few time over the Xmas break but had the camera on a sunny morning mooch doing some hedge bottom and a small wood, no runners out with him as both have knocked up toes, so just out to keep his eye in so too speak.
  13. Does anyone have any pics of DW's early stuff and in particular a bitch called one eyed tess. Regards Bryan.
  14. Being broad shouldered makes him more noisy as he pushes through tight spots, the Mrs sits and picks the thorn spikes out of him in the evening. Thanks for your comment on him, as he's not everyone's cup of tea.
  15. my lad out yesterday, sun very low made everything look golden.

  18. You'll have to watch that when out bushing that the dog doesn't drop to ground. You might want to investigate plummers they my be more what your looking for.
  19. I have one of these and use him for that type of work, they defo need a job of work to do or they could be a handful of trouble.
  20. Wouldn't a whippet x Grey longdog be more what your looking for, size and speed wise.
  21. No, not gone to ground, been out nearly every day since he was 4 months. I'm quite surprised as he's got good prey drive.
  22. Just paid £87 for day after jab to stop patt x whippet pups, was waiting to mate her with a good Laguna dog but that's out the window for 6 months now.
  23. how old is this dog now? how old is this dog now? And is the dog an earth dog? Would like to see the dog now. He's coming up for 2 years old, and no I use him for bushing so can't have him going to ground on a mooch. He gets too see plenty of work above ground for us.
