Looks like there's still some knocking about, too pricey though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=sussex+sabo+pellets&lpid=25&keyword=sussex+sabo+pellets&clk_rvr_id=552835383134&crlp=12905235655_2683116_ICEP3&GUID=24b6283813f0a5f163b5b4f5fe4dc0ee&adpos=1o1&MT_ID=10&device=t&geo_id=32251&keyword=sussex+sabo+pellets&rotation_id=710-35648-5910-0&crdt=0&ff1=keyword%3Dsussex%2Bsabo%2Bpellets&ff3=1&ff4=69_25&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=69&ff13=84&ff14=25&ff17=sussex+sabo+pellets
  5. You mean these, I used to shoot these out my HW 35 around 1980 they were leathal.
  6. Mine only 9 months now but had him out from about 4-5 months and on one of the very first mooches we were very lucky for him to put a bunny out on the very first time he actually went in, I think this has given him a great start, now I've had him in the beating line on a local shoot three or four times, has pegged a couple of birds due to the speed they move through cover much to the keepers annoyance but I'm not telling him off for that, as patterdales are tireless he works at a great pace but find on a shoot with a lot of game about you have to keep on top of him or he will go to far forward
  7. Thanks lads been taking him out and keeping on top of him, scarring a lot of game away in the process with my shouting, but he has improved a lot and is much steadier now and taking direction from me to the point I can remain quite, and get his attention much quicker. Here he is. Still very young at 7 months but he becoming a great tool to use with the runners, I feel confident enough now to try him at beating next weekend, see what he thinks to the spaniels working. Cheers lads.
  8. Not got a problem with working or scent, just that when he's excited on scent or been on something he works too far ahead and too fast, any tips on keeping the dog close and slowing him down. He's a 7 month old patterdale and works at 90mph when out, if I can nip it in the bud now he'll be a cracker.
