  1. I know an old fella that kept a line of pure Staffords that were snipey like this dog. Infact it's the spit of a bitch he had years back. Will have to show him the pic I'm sure it'll bring back some good memories for him, thanks for sharing According to the fella that owns it, its not slow either and can take bolters.
  2. This was taken a few months ago when she was around 5 months old. I'll try and take some up to date pics over the w/e... She looks a little cracker in that pic fella, my one has the dark muzzle as well in fact she looks similar too yours only mine is a reddish color with a slightly thicker coat. She's getting the hang of things now but i really need too get another terrier or better still whirrier coz it's a bit too much for her on her own, not to mention all the rabbits that break cover and run straight across an open field. atb daywalker. The ones that break for open field are my fav
  3. Yea have thought about it, but my whippets are so slight only 18" tts and 20lb and putting a solid lump like him over them don't know about a little frame passing the pups, might work better with one of the larger MB working Whippets
  4. I really like the look of it but I think I would try a patt worker to whippet, that would have some drive in it.
  5. Ahh just read the guys post its Staff x Whippet, but I still like it, thought it was out of a wheeler patt. 1st x staff x whippet.
  6. Hope the hunter doesn't mind me using his pic, but I think I'm going to have one of this cross one day, Patt x whippet
  7. Need to get this thread moving again, I know some of you dislike Facebook but on there tonight I saw a pic of a patterdale x whippet and it looked a very handy dog, could turn its hand to various methods of hunting, anybody got one on here and can give us your experiences of that type.
  8. And why ain't you at school fella.
  9. Stick some pics up then Fairy 10, go to Photobucket and open an account, its free, upload your pics into a library and when you click on a pic and open it up it will have an IMG code, copy that code and paste it in your post and your pics will be shown when you post, let's see em.
  10. Got to be either a young lad or "the other"
  11. Just bushing in general, how long have you been bushing, have you hunted before and having ago at bushing or do you have a running dog background and need info on terriers, Plaistow is that East london, do you have many places you can go around there, possibly abit urban isn't it.
  12. He wouldn't win many shows, unless I entered him in a shire horse event.
  13. in top nick well done Thanks Wi11ow
  14. I wonder if it's because the air is cooling down and carries any scent that's about, abit better.
  15. There is nothing better for catching bolters in woods, they accelerate fast and if the run is between trees the whippet is agile enough to cope, I have two whippets I run with one terrier, he's a busy boy when out and all have a good nose, it's just down to me to put them the right side of the hedge or wood for wind direction and let them do what comes natural for each breed.
  16. Fox only legal for the protection of game birds.
  17. Theres a pic of him on page 19, Nuttal x Wheeler Patt
  18. No Runners out tonight (injuries) or it might of been one in the bag. http://youtu.be/hHh3fFm_Pl4
  19. As iv'e said before he is a lovely dog, tell me is he as strong as he looks. My one pegged a rabbit in cover the other day and it was the biggest buck i have ever seen, she had a job keeping hold of it. atb daywalker. He's very strong and loves the work, ears take abit of a pounding but suspect all bushers suffer with than.
  20. Beddywhippet will do all that you want, nothing else required.
  21. Looks similar to mine, when she was a pup.
