  8. Interesting thing is, if these things are legal,BUT are loans, the people that have benifited from the scheme have to re-pay the cash/benefits. Apparently the use of these things has been rife, including the city of london trading and also in HM govt, so the tax boys could potentially be on the back of a claim themselves.....ha! Also, a lot of rich boys could be sweating due to the fact they may now have to re-pay all the benefits they have been getting in years gone by.........
  9. Reach for the sky - brilliant! Walked about like Douglas Bader for days after I saw that one! And the door gunner from Full Metal Jacket, fav character ever....."git some!"

  11. I had a Remmy semi-auto and it was a nightmare (might have been me) I couldnt get to grips with it. Bang, click, click, bang! Didnt matter if it was clean or left uncleaned but the action was lubricated.....it failed me too many times! I traded it in for an Annie bolt action....never jams and is much more accurate......stick to a bolt action!

  17. A devout Arab Muslim entered a black cab in London. He curtly asked the cabbie to turn off the radio because as decreed by his religious teaching, he must not listen to music because in the time of the prophet, there was no music, especially Western music which is the music of the infidel. The cab driver politely switched off the radio, stopped the cab and opened the door. The Arab Muslim asked him, "What are you doing? The cabbie answered; "In the time of the prophet there were no taxis, So f... off and wait for a camel!"
  18. I remember my auld uncle coming back from a trip off the Gantocks and he hung the cod by the gills on top of the metal clothes pole and its tail was bent over on the ground....well over 30 lbs......need to head to Norway for fish like that now.....
  19. Depends where you are, I worked "daan saath" for a few years, Welwyn Garden City....now there's a keech hole. BUT I bought some fishing gear and kept it in the office....used to go carp fishing to keep me out of the boozer....enjoyed it too.......bad if you have nippers tho, especially wee ones, you miss too much. Managed to get a job local now, but you never know, can always happen.....
