Orkney Dark Island, now that'll sort the men from the boys.....last time I tried to stick to it, I got a 'lift' home, ahem......taxi had a blue light on top....... Used to drink loads of it in Edinburgh, before the pubs went a bit hairdresser.... Remember Lancaster Bomber, Adnam's Broadside and Wadworth's 6x.........all mental stuff! I stick to Duechars IPA or good ole tennants these days.......cant beat them if you can get a decent pint.

Aye right Baw! There were plenty of tannings handed out to both sides over the years!! I have been at plenty..... Raptures if you have won.....loadsa beer and a laugh! Depression if you lose................loadsa beer and a wee bubble! Although, I have met some odd folk who actually took it seriously, wouldnt buy a paper the next day if their team got beat, in fact some would not go out on a saturday after a game if they got beat? Wierdos....its only a game....not to be taken seriously.......like rugby.....

I remember the Stonehouse boys never made it to school one day, they did a "Star Trek" on the bus going round Canderside Toll on the way in, nearly toppled the bus and 3 windaes got broken, the driver took them all to the nick and noone would grass, so they locked the lot up in the cells, wee lassies and everybody.....imagine the outcry now if they did that???

aha, the shoplifters!! My auld man used to work in Caterpillar in Tannochside....I used to wonder why he was glued to the news every night....it was to see what was for sale the next day at work!! There was a brilliant shoplifter worked out of the Imperial round the back of St Enoch's, he would take orders from the punters in the bar and go and nick it! Size, colour everything.....

Managed to get them to nest and breed, but could not keep the young alive at all......love bettas....this link may make me set up a tank again. All the stuff is up the loft....

Nae worries there Baw, they know me and mine......we should have a chat someday about that place.....bonkers...... There was another Mint, years ago, had a lurcher called Sandy......used to fling it off the road bridge over the Avon......pair dug thought it was normal to go flying for about 100 feet and smack the water above the weir.......didnae half give ye a fright if ye were fishing under the brig!! Think that particular Mint might have been a wee bitty saft in the heed tho!

Check ooy aww the big hoosie folks.....you should have seen my scheme in the 70's.......its was fekkin mental.....the Pru men went aboot in teams... The BT engineers had 4 in a gang, 2 sat in the landrover at all times.....if they left a van or a landrover empty, it was offski! Poor? I went roond a mates I had a school and they had newspaper on the flair instead of carpets!! I wondered why his da was always at home....apperently he was the gritter driver!! Alright lads? long shot maybe, but has anyone got an alternator for a Mitshi Pajero 2.5 SWB? Its a single pulley job with fins on the back of the pulley.... I'm off the road till I source one.....help!! Nae lampin till I get it sorted cheers!!!

I love spiders, brilliant things, fascinating....wont kill one and am only too happy to have them about the place....Mrs hates them tho! Did some squadie not bring a camel spider back from the desert fairly recently? In his kit? Now they aint too poisonous, but have a hell of a bite!
