  1. FUNDS RECIEVED WITH GRATEFUL THANKS. Mr Charlie Caller your TX200HC is boxed and packed and will be posted to you today. All the very best and a pleasure to do business with you sir. Simon. This rifle for sale is now sold and post closed
  2. I've given her a check over and a polish after shooting yesterday Jimmy then spent over an hour just handling her before putting her away in her secure cabinet. I think an HW77 .22 that's currently having her stock refurbed by a certain Genius may be well locked away when not shooting to keep her company But the very notion of selling her...... There isn't enough money in the world for this rifle, or my HW77 or my HW97K
  3. HHH.Ho How...How mu..much ..How much do I want for it?? Me? Sell this German one-in-a-million-masterpiece with hand restored and refinished stock? How much do I want for it?
  4. It's alright old pal. No one is offended or upset. But, we don't need to see professional production values or a masterpiece of editing on a par with Hollywood movies. Let's see her little face when she opens her parcel ...eh!
  5. My God look at what's starting to emerge already! I'm saying now't here as this man is a genius at work After what Jimmy has produced with my HW80 stock, and the performance of that rifle now, this is going to make a pair of gunstocks that a man like me could only dream of. PM sent about an Adjustable Butt pad for it Jimmy. When you get a moment mate. ATB Simon
  6. SOLD TO MR CHARLIE CALLER! Packing it and despatch asap.
  7. Deker's point is absolutely right. There really isn't a rifle type that you can pick up and use effectively without a well understood technique of handling it with consistency of your hands and contact with the rifle in the aim, highlighted upon before. Simple principals of marksmanship really. But they are sound and proven principals none the less. Canting the rifle on a swivelling bipod or in your hands will also upset your accuracy. No matter how crisp on the reticle your zero is. A canted rifle will not be harmonised with your controlling hand and shoulder profile as it was at perf
  8. LEFT HANDED TX200HC CARBINE .177 £200 for the GUN ONLY. You'll need a gunbag and scope as I use all mine with other guns I have. This TX200HC is an amazingly accurate and well loved air rifle. and it is very, very reluctantly, up for sale. CONDITION IS EXCELLENT FOR AGE AND USE. Original blueing. Not a bit of rust. The stock has a ding at the forend that can be ironed out and refurbed, It has been professionally serviced and internally polished, honed and fettled by an expert gunsmith who services all my rifles. This is a PCP accurate springer! It has a stunningly beautiful ric
  9. I could write a chapter on "Rifle Harmonics In The Hold" but that would bore you senseless. Truth is, there is a degree of hold sensitivity with a PCP. Not as much as spring rifles have, but enough to shift a scope off the POI from an otherwise perfectly set zero if you address the rifle with an inconsistant hold from shot to shot, or a tight grip or uneven hand pressures and too much back-pressure at the shoulder or none at all. . Simply enough, if you need to learn to shoot a PCP as you would a spring rifle, you'd solve so many handling accuracy issues at once.. Nice easy, light and
  10. Sure it wasn't you Simon I have to be honest Mitch......I did play it up a bit and the poor lass was a little bit spooked. But I did all i could to reassure her that there is nothing truly sinister or evil in any way here. But some strange things that have no other possible explanation take place here. I would though, like to know what the story of the young lady I have seen, really is. She isn't a sad spirit. But she is a young woman and really, to have lost her life in her late teens or early twenties seems a terrible thing. .
  11. What are y'all trying to say about my tumkin? 42inch waist ain't bad for a man of my years? I can only echo and second that sentiment Sean. Jimmy has been like a brother to me over this incredible kindness and I love him like a brother for it. and I don't care if he's gonna call me a soft twat for saying it.. Nicola is just the loveliest lady too. They are very well matched as a couple and it's lovely that she was able to come and visit us. I think she's really hit it off with Helen.. My rabbit hunting trip out today was a bit mixed, with spending parts of it in my car while it rai
  12. WELL.... Jimmy BigMac97KT and Nicola have just left us this morning to get home to Newcastle for a family function. It's been an absolute honour and a pleasure to have them stay with us. We had a lovely day yesterday reconnecting and of course, putting the refurbished stock back where she belongs with her action and getting her back into zero on my 30-metre garden range. He brought his stunning HW100 rig down with him and we set that up too with a range session...Well, I can see why they are so well loved by most of you lads here who have them. I don't really have the words to properl
  13. 12-bore shotgun beats the lot. Or my HW80 .22 powerhouse
  14. Holy smoke Jimmy that looks amazing after what it was when it went up to you. I've got Carlsbergs waiting for us when you get down if that's good for you. I figured if they did stock refurbishment, they would be the best..you know the rest. Like this really! Looks like you finished the Butt pad too? Don't forget your camera for pics to show everyone of her re-united with her stock. If the weather's bad mind, I'm not taking her anywhere near rain this weekend. See you both tomorrow Jimmy. Any idea what time you'll be arriving Best regards and a safe journey. Simon and Helen
  15. Well I don't know what more of a rifle you could possibly want for Littlehunter Mac. I mean, these HW100s are bomb proof from everything I've heard the lads here say about them. It looks lovely...Until you start reaching for the sandpapars and walnut oil.. .Then it'll be stunning!
  16. Gordon Bennett Simon ! I`ll bet your " forever turning the volume up and down" on your telly ! atb
  17. The triple glazing we have helps Mark. The Typhoons are on night flying training sorties right now at 21;15 PM but the Display Typhoon in practice sessions makes a powerful roaring thunder that gives the place a shake! He was up with full reheat on at 08.00 A.M. one morning....He makes a steep sweeping turn right over our bedroom!
  18. Thank you very much philpot! I live in a small village, very near to RAF Coningsby's main runway. My house is under their circuit path. Most days and evenings it's Typhoons low over the rooftop
  19. The problem you have is the Grey is non native and arguably so in the European rabbit. Both cause considerable damage to the countryside/crops and other wildlife. The Government, FC and most farmers, landowners, stables, etc., wants rid of both of them. Landowners are legally bound to remove/control rabbit numbers, https://www.gov.uk/guidance/rabbits-how-to-control-numbers frankly, providing you or anyone else with some sport is not the objective! That's the reality, dress it up however you like! I seem to shoot more rabbits with my air rifles than my landowner friend
  20. It's because we love wildlife and nature that makes us take care in how we do the job of killing when we have to. With great respect and humanity for our prey. Even if they are only vermin. At least, that's my point of view. They have a right to live and thus I pitch my skills against their instincts. I have greater respect for the rabbits I shoot than some people I've encountered on my life's journey. I have never in all my life, set out to wipe out every rabbit warren on my permissions nor will I shoot the Kittens unless the landowner insists on it and I absolutely have to. I go for the
  21. Secretly Mac, Simons like... "Mac... Rather than being in the fields... Shouldn't you be working on my eighty stock?!" Aw f k Busted!! Cheers James!   Now then fair play, he's well-earned a good night off the sawdust and buffing powders
  22. Scottish Widows Jamie. Have one with them myself as a self employed person. Have a look at them. Do it now mate. Give comparison sites and whatever you can find on the web for a look-over for best performing pension schemes and financial planning. But Scottish Widows are a solid performer in the market place. All the best mate. Simon
  23. Now this is above and beyond the call of duty. I was initially a little worried this new butt-pad might tip the stock-fit to me with the rifle a bit more forward. But, looking at it, it's not much thicker/longer than the original HW pad that would drastically alter the handling and fit of the rifle to me???. It's really looking very purposeful now. As well as beautiful. I honestly don't know of a better HW80 out there. Certainly not after Jimmy Mac here has finished this. He's coming down with it to my home on Saturday here so we'll see what she looks and handles like with her new
  24. Nice one Jamie. Ride the storm laddie. A pissed-off missus is just a passing emotional moment. A great rifle on the the otherhand, is a joy forever.
