    ive been tempted to introduce my own line of sheepdogs to lurcher breeding... Problem is I only keep bitches and havent heard enough about breedings where the dog was a sighthound and the bitch a collie So this idea will remain on the backburner until I get a definitive answer as I wont be breeding a litter on a whim

    I shouldve been out ferreting this morning but ive a relative whos on his death bed, hes 79, and has throat cancer he hasnt eaten food in weeks he was also on dialasis but they stopped the dialasis now and they have brought him home to die. Irish customs are strange, in the early hours of this morning we were all sat around the kitchen table at his house making funeral arrangements and eamon isnt even dead yet, decided on the coffin, the meal after the funeral, planned the wake .. Everything down to who is making tea at the wake even... Local gunclub of which he was a member for many years

    Had to catch a cow earlier in the year, she did the same with an old rusty mountain bike, she went mental around the field, left her to calm down and with the help of a bucket of nuts 2 of us eventually got it off her. Some folk avoid... I have little choice but to help, we still had to have vet out to stitch her leg

    Albino hobs... Although ive only one at moment cause my options were limited this year due to being unwilling to pay stupid prices and not going to any gamefairs where I mightve picked 1 or 2 up So ive currently got 3 polecat hobs and 1 polecat jill as well

    Shes arrived this morning in the post and shes a beauty She is razor sharp as well... My fella tried to steal her off me.... thinking of a plain walnut handle with no liner just brass pins

    There is a type of food poisoning specific to cooked rice, never store cooked rice always serve freshly cooked I believe it is known as bacillus cereus Learnt about it when doing my basic food hygene.

    Certain breeds have hardly any teeth left by the time they are 5 or 6 while other breeds at 10yr old have teeth as good as a 3 or 4yr old
