  1. Ideally 18mths-2yrs for fox depends on what way dog is bred but you really want it to take fox single handed, ive never owned a dog that was used for deer so cant comment on that aspect of things although ive seen dogs belonging to associates take deer on a couple of occasions.

  5. Nope, she was keen on fox but she just couldnt handle the larger foxes, ended up running her doubled up...
  6. Was that bred out of roscommon by any chance? A friend of a friend had a litter out of a mongrel red bitch & a good terrier dog from kildare couple years back, pup he kept was similar
  7. My old bull grey bitch 7/8 grey 1/8 bull took the occasional fox She was plenty willing but just not capable of taking them regular.

  9. Not quite... After a couple of days at the centre they discovered it had a broken wing tip so unfortunately cannot be returned to the wild, they told me if it hadnt got to the centre when it did it would have died from malnourishment as it was on the brink...

  13. very sad, I would never leave a young child unattended let alone unattended with any dog even if I believed the dog to be trustworthy

  15. Is there any laws regarding what breeds of hounds are allowed to course hares? is it just greyhounds or can you course with any lurcher type?

  17. my pup muscled up at 7/8mths onwards and hes saluki/grey I was not expecting it! He has plenty of exercise and is fed on gain puppy&salpling with barf He still regularly goes through gangly stages but they tend to be growth spurts

My vet is great, I feel like ive robbed him when I pay him and he only charges me 20 or 30 quid for stitching my dog/horse/goat back together, hes only chargeing me 20quid per hob to get my ferrets castrated in spring and he charges 25for vaccinations and will split the bottle of vaccine between 2 dogs to save you money.

  20. Im out walking for an hour with the pup most nights, waiting on a lamp... I also try and do a bit if ferreting once or twice a week
  21. There is one in dublin... They stock the gp saddle I have my eye on but its very pricey at 2800euros: black country vinici gp and im not sure that particular saddle will be any good for jumping and if I bought that I would only be able to afford the 1 saddle.
