  1. for that money id cut up a cow mat for ye as well as thats all they are and id even post em The cow mats i have are 6x4 and cost me 40each and look exactly the same to those in pic
  2. What im saying is there are very well bred greyhounds in ireland its a matter of finding them, i am not going to travel to the uk when what i want is on my own doorstep. I wouldnt waste this bitch on anything less than a very good stud dog. If i have to put off the mating until i find the right dog i will do so, its no skin off my nose but i guarantee this litter will be better bred than 99% of collie-grey litters out there.
  3. Warning found this on facebook
  4. Nicest staffs ive seen in a long time
  5. Should do that anyway for health and safety.
  6. I would prefer a dog in ireland as it isnt viable for me to drive over via ferry... once you add 200+for ferry 50 for diesal 200+ for stud fee, 70 to get new passport issued and to top it off id then have to visit family = weeks wages lost. Think it would be simpler to use an irish dog
  7. Nope... Crossbows require licence from guards but longbows have no such restriction
  8. Need licence for crossbow but as far as i know anyone can own a longbow but its not legal to hunt with it. Just what ive been told...
  9. greyhound wanted for stud over working sheepdog bitch prefer not to use a dog with more than 30%white on it. Will pay fair stud fee Wont give 1st pick of litter as breeding to keep bitch for myself. Unless its a dog pup your after.
  10. Neither... Id wait for a suitable litter to come up.
  11. its a bit of both 30th of jan till 1st of feb The dates i got were 26&27th jan, 3rd/4th feb
  12. Is it january or feb? Icc says end of jan but several sporting papers say beginning of feb?
  13. From what ive seen on youtube jagds are very vocal... Wouldnt be a cross id be interested in for that reason alone
  14. Why would anyone arrange a match then not turn up? Even if your own dog loses ye still get to watch a reputedly great dog run and that imo is priceless

Ive fecked my army boots so im getting aigle wellys for tramping around in, other boots that are meant to be good are brasher and meindel and lowas Wouldnt waste your time on doc martins...
  16. I remember a very good pic of a black fox... It was in shooting forum couple years back
  17. Some folk on here appear too thick to read between the lines on some topics and do their best to goad folk into stateing the obvious ... I often wonder about their motives as i see the same names doing this time and time again.. this site may have many faults but the mods keeping the idiots from posting stuff thats illegal teaches the next generation that we are not all like the tits on certain facebook hunting pages
  18. Quit complaining, in ireland we have to pay 50euro for a consultation with a GP
  19. They aint mates... Ditch them... Your life will be all the better for it.
  20. I prefer the old fashioned hairy breeds but i have a smooth coated sal x here and he has a shorter better coat than any greyhound or whippet ive seen, he has the advantage that you can wipe the muck off him with a sponge, he doesnt seem affected badly by the cold and its as cold here as it is in east of england the disadvantage is any scars are easily seen... He has a few so far caused by brambles mainly
  21. Aye bosun has a cracker needing a good working home
  22. Wouldnt matter to me if dog is any good at bushing or not its better than leaving it sat on sofa... Its a bit of company at least as long as its good with ferrets and well behaved it doesnt matter if its a lapdog, a pet bull or any other breed bring it along for the craic
