  1. Nice looking pups... I hope they do you proud next season.
  2. Stick to between mates.... No fee... Pup if you need one...there shouldn't be any surplus pups left if the dog and bitch are right...If only one pup, your mates will understand and give to the one who really needs it... Or if you need it yourself keep it. It only gets complicated when money is involved !
  3. Me ? Never ! I'm a good lad I am ha ha....trouble is good SS ...it keeps your mind active :-)
  4. Is there a number people can ring brickie ..?
  5. Nice looking dog Mark...I had a Lakeland that got bald patches tail, ears ect... Camrosa oil helped a bit.... As for out of season digging... I have call outs the whole year through... If they are not sorted my permission would get someone else to do them...
  6. Our hunt had a 30lbdog fox about 5-6 years ago.. sent the mask off to be mounted and is on the wall of a friends house...it weighed 30lb the day after it was shot..and wa only weighed as it was in my mates garage and the salmon scales were close on hand.... but we have had a few big ones off the mountains.. also had a few dwalf looking ones..stubby body.. tiny stump legs...it was reported in the edrd and the month after a 31lb dog fox was also reported.. alot look very big though till you actually get your hands on them...
  7. Why not ask to see the bitch work.. Ask him over to your permission pick a nice testing earth and see how she goes ... I dont know anyone that would part with a good bitch for money. All the best with whatever you decide
  8. Go to your nearest recycling depot, ask the boss if you can rummage through the battery box... They pay to get rid of them... 12 v tester... Free batteries :-) I have not bought one for over ten years now..
  9. Just wondered why you would stud an unproven bitch.... You have seen her work ? notes for a shag...how much for the whole night ;-) right I'm off lamping.. As it's still light I will be wearing a blind fold.!
  10. Wxm there is a park in gwersllt, take the young dog there... Rabbits are quite used to humans there and stay longer... You don't get easier rabbits than these and a good confidence builder for a young dog... Keep an eye out for the parky though :-) a few lads at nwtlc are big into the rabbits... Why not pick there brains at a meeting. Best of luck to you Just read your post again properly (I'm getting old) far too many start there dogs to young and end up getting rid at 9 10 month old... Let a pup be a pup... For example I was in a beer tent a few years ago at a show, a guy in his 50s
  11. Can't be your dog though gte it had seen quite a bit of work ;-)
