  1. I have the new bellman box... and think it is bang on.... its used 3-4 times aweek with the new and old collars (but not the first collars they brought out as they are not accurate) but the guy from bellman explained this too me over the phone.... spares for the old collars you can still get, apart from the casing.. as the company who cast them went bust... and i was told they are looking for someone else to cast them... the box itself is quite large... but only as big as the old knocker boxes..its a sealed unit..waterproof... and you dont get grit sand and stuff stuck in the on switch lik

  3. 40 heifers let out on to the main road.... Resulting in 2 that had to be shot.... Pigeon shooters coming on and flattening the wheat so they can put there decoys on... Sheep fence bent down because they couldn't be arsed walking 20 yards down to the gate....leverets run and left in the fields .... Cubs left on the stubble for all to see... Lamps shining at the house and frightening the kids... Kids building fires in the woods and leaving broken beer bottles where stock can walk on them ..cartridges left out for the cows too munch on including the plastic wads...that is week in and week out...

  6. How old is the dog mate ? See If you can get out with another dog that will mark to ground.... Crops are still up and it's still warm so there isn't a lot of foxes to ground yet.... Don't be dis-heartened... Enjoy what you do with your dog... If it does eventually go to ground for you it's a bonus... Try to get out with a local lad though and learn the ropes from him..

  12. I have a half grey 1/4 whea 1/4 bull and I can't fault his work....Thrives on work... Great around terriers while working but a tw@t around the kennels....would fight his own shadow... And not all bull x are big meat head muscle bound animals .... But in my opinion there are alot of shit bull x and wheat x... Pedlars or immature owners putting any old bull or wheat over something they think is special... People buying pups from hearsay instead of watching the parents work first or knowing the breeding back ground of the dogs... Each to there own I suppose...mine is out every day with me on the

  17. Get some kick plates welded on... Saves On the boots a bit...
  18. Bales are also kept in barns in the winter lol..... I had my first fox with a terrier from a bale stack.... Small bales then... And have had plenty from then since.... Where I grew up there would be Dutch barns on the fields and very rarely visited by the farmer... Not much cover either... So when the hard frosts and rain hit, they were like a magnet for foxes... 5 is the most we have bolted out of the one stack.... I still have a place I go too.... stone barn with a soil floor... And have at least one or two a season from it...
