    I would agrree with you 99% of the time mate but some times when all you will be doing is walking muddy field you can't beat a pair of wellies for ease of cleaning.

    I have a few of these in my bag but very rarely use them but when i do they usually account for there mole. My bread and butter traps are duffus and talpex type traps and to be honest you don't need anything else.

    No disrespect to Tomo or Jim because they are out doing it, but not everyone that likes a walk out after dark feels the need to post it all over the net. Plenty of lads getting out getting big bag's of game don't you worry about that the dogs that these lads are running aren't freaks just they have owners that aren't afraid to put the miles in to put stuff in front of them.

    She had a good innings she was 11 could of kept her hanging on with treatment but no working dog deserves to fade away. I bred her a couple of times but always had bad luck with the pups i kept back somethings just aren't meant to be i suppose.

    Well had to have the old girl pts yesterday due to a tumour in her shoulder. She never was a world beater but she was one hell of a tool for the job she was used for most. Shifting old charles from were he could,t be moved Quiet a few lads seen her work and i can say most who dug to her would of owned her or one like her. She had 7 seasons work under her belt accounting for over 250 foxes her best being 46 in one season. The thing that made her worth her weight in gold was she could be called out but don't for one minute think she was a quitter because the same bitch if left to work would st

    Were most people go wrong with Hare IMO is they don't bleed them. I eat alot of hares this time of year they are my favourite game meat, I bleed them as soon as they are killed then gut them maybe half hour later this makes the meat "sweet" imo. I don't mind hanging any game but to do this with the guts left in is wrong and is why alot of people only ever try certain meats once and are put off for life.

    CWD were good fun and ideal for getting pups going. But they are no great achievement for an adult dog, yes you will get the odd gruler but you will get just as many EASY ones.
