  1. im all for the ratcatcher, great little pest control tool, but Id suggest the standard version with powerletts, reason, they give 10/15 good shots and the powerlet cost 25p ish the king takes the larger bottle, and is ok for about 200 shots, but if you go shooting and only use 50 shots, means your storing the gun with gas in, which over a period of time will either leak or sod the seals up,
  2. good idea about the water bottle on the carry box
  3. at the end of the day, its your garden/yard size that defines what you can have although i have a good size court, with outdoor attactment, i also have hutches its the quaility of life that should be looked at, how much time is spent with them, work or play id rather see a fert kept in a hutch that is cared for properly, more than a court kept fert thats thrown food on passing but left to rot do you see my point
  4. working nights and getting in at 5am ish, puter till 6am ish, then straight to sleep, problems start on my nights off, fri and sat, cos me body clock is all arse about face and I wanna stay awake all night, rather then revert back to normal time and go to bed at night but getting to sleep is easy then, and no one has said it yet shag the other half roll over and fart sleeeeeeep easy
  5. yeah, noticed a couple of my posts dissapeared
  6. hi woodman, is that mesh EML expanded metal lathing? used to use that in my old job(dry linner) before becoming pest controller, always found it was quite sharp inside the holes?
  7. one for sale in that section as we speak, good deal by the looks of it, if i wernt get a 4x4 next month i would have it
  8. have 2 litters of seven that will be 7 weeks this coming weekend, although the missus wants to keep a few, still leaves us around 8, after my boy has a couple, so anyone interested just pm me
  9. have seen this mentioned before, and if it works then great, but, if it dont, then thats £60 down the swanny, and still need to lay out £100 on a proper one, plus its locate only, so if it does get you above your fert, you still dont know how far down it is, a foot or 15 foot? means having to dig slower, save cutting your fert in half with a shovel think for the extra £40 Id rather know the depth too
  10. looks great, however I will point out that once they start climbing, they'll be out the top section in a shot, maybe needs a mesh sheet on that section too and line the floor with woodchip rather than hay, makes cleaning the toilet corners alot easier
  11. well apart from cheap plinkers as a kid, I went straight into pcp a few years back, and would'ent look at a springer, told the company I work for (pest control) to get me a rat catcher, but was told Id be getting a springer from the warehouse, well I got a TX200 .177 air arms, and after getting rid of the shite scope that was fixed to it, and fitting my own, think its a great rifle, yup its heavy but i got used to that pretty quick
  12. I use plastic tent pegs, only cos Im tight, lol they were on offer 20 for £1-00 bright yellow with large palm friendly top so well easy to push in, and then doubles as a visual aid when collecting in the nets
  13. conserve nature pickle a squirrel

  15. Id say upgrade by all means, just keep ya mk1 as back up, or sell it on a few months down the line if ya happy with the mk3, nothing worst than upgrading, then regretting

  21. quote;I have three butchers that pay £1.50-£2 a head how much do they pay for the rest of the rabbit
  22. if you want cheap, why not try a second hand office supply and get a half size changing room locker, or a hard gun case normally around £40/£50 with a padlock
  23. dont know if im right, but I dont think you'd get one, for the simple reason it would be to easy to conceal it, or using it folded would then give you in reality a hand gun capable of over the 6ftlb nearest thing would be what I have, a air arms S410 TDR (TAKE DOWN RIFLE) the stock unscrews, but the rifle cant be fired unless the stock is attached
