  1. sad as it is, we need to find billy a new home, will say must be a working home.. I took billy from longdogrunner with the idea that he would be 90% pet with a 10% chance of working but my job on nights has'ent allowed that, when out with our jack russel running he constantly mouth's her around the neck as though she was a rabbit, and now seems bored with being a family dog, as he is climbing on the kitchen table when were out and nicking the sunday roast when were in (big trouble for me) so feel he needs the work side of his life to be more like the 90% if anyone wants to know mor

  5. both my jills had their kits within a day of each other, (14 kitts total) they have been using a double box, each box measuring around 12x12x12 they have either used a box each, or piled all the kitts together in one section, this habit changes daily, the kitts are now 4 weeks old and today both jills have moved the whole lot to a corner of the court?? I thought maybe they wanted the nest boxes cleaned, so rather than do both I cleaned one side and put in new wood shavings, they moved the kitts back to the clean side, only to pile them back in the corner a few hours later? is this normal?(n

  9. or.... as one of my son's was forever raiding my toolbox, yet hated it when I chopped up rabbits, I simply chucked 8 freshly chopped off feet into the bottom of my toolbox, and yup, forgot they were there... 8 months later eldest son rung to enquire why all these rabbit feet were in the toolbox, nicely aged, no pong, no moulting prehaps I'd better get them on the bay of E

  13. not wanting to get into a heated debate here but,.... quote; listen to what your vet tells you and make your own judgements are vets not there to make money, of course they are gonna try and get you jabbing ferts as most peeps keep more than one (they become addictive) he's gonnna be rubbing his hands with glee if a poll was done on here I bet the number of non jab keepers would be in the double or more figures and the jabbers the singular
  14. If I get a biter, when it latches on, I continue to push the finger down its throat, or to the back of the tongue, that makes them gag and let go, if you then start to push your finger into the mouth at every oppotunity, they soon learn that fingers arnt for biting or get yourself some malt paste from the pet shop, they love licking this off ya fingertips, so again learn fingers give nice stuff so dont bite

  23. as stated above, we do not leave a rodent board un-attended, but stay on site, so that we can give a quick and humane death, although the law only states that they should be checked regularly. as a pco we do respect "the quarry" and try all possible methods of control before using rodent boards, but when the public want an underground system free from rodents(will never happen) the higher archy makes the rules and we follow it has to be said that at least we in the pest control buisness have to reach certain standards before we are let out to control pests (BPCA/RSPH) yet I see man
  24. I'd use them every time, bought my .22 S410 TDR from them, the after sales is the best mate, dont listen to what others say, just ask ya self, what other shop will garentee the item for as long as you own it, take it back anytime for a free service, my mate took his rifle back a year after buying it, as the scope had gone a bit dodgey, no trying to fob him off, they simply gave him a brand new one, try doing thatt with other places let us know when ya coming down, if im in ya can have a cuppa
