looks a good job mate, my only suggestion would be, to put the nest/sleeping box up in the wasted space up top, conecting to the base with a bendy tube, thus giving them max space at bottom

Id go with sue's remarks too, two hobs, get them both castrated, that way no fighting between them in the breeding season, and castration is gonna be easyier than getting two jills spaded, and probably cheaper too, hobs are in my eye's much more user friendly, being more chilled out, and happy to lay back and be made a fuss off, yet still ok to put down a rabbit hole if that is wanted later,

you will still get a smell from a castrated hob, to stop them smelling, you'd have to have the scent glands removed, we had "BUSTER" castrated last year, and he still smells like a normal ferret, just not as powerful smell when the others are in season, dont think it changes them, he's still a very chilled out fert

You should fit your hobs with spiked leather ones I think they are 1/2 pit bull.Inan. mine are big softies, compaired to "DRILLER"

was lucky enough to win a terrier mk3 collar from e bay, brand new and a lot cheaper than new, a ferret collar is 200mm long, a terrier 400mm so this one has been cut down to 300mm, just right for my big hobs, was a pain getting a 200mm on them, plus it now gives me 4 collars

I too think we should bring an end to this post, ok so the guy has done things differently than some on here might have, but then were not all in the position to be able to rush to a vets at the first sign of trouble, and thats where "the ferreting section" gets used as an asking place, before rushing to a vets, I learnt this the expensive way, an rushed to the vets with a hob that had what looked like a rash on the back of its neck, was given creams, an injection for the ferret, an explanation of mange and a nice bill of £30, that I could have done without, only to then put up a post about i

have heard that they will take a rabbit out, if near enough, either a crossman or the chinky copy, both quite cheap I think, my mate at work bought the copy, but with the larger screw in from the front bottle, a complete set up, tele sights,silencer,gun bag,pellets etc only cost him a little over £130, and I got to pick it up for him, was very suprised how quite it was
