Hello just wondered if theres any one in the south yorkshire area that does a bit of ratting and would be willing to take a couple of young lads out with them? were not messers and we wont steal permission like what seems to have happened recently on this site. we have 6 terriers between us and would really appreciate it . thanks Sam p.s. We also have ferrets that we use for ratting and would happily fetch them along.

no mate not that i can remember of.i might have had a walk around their in the past though. i'm usually out and about in the fields around laughton and that.mooching about with the terriers.straight mile's about 5 min from me though. why? are you there a lot? sam.

i think i know who you mean with the fawn and white lurcher and the black and white collie type. he lives about 4 doors up from me . is the collie type heavey on the collie side? sambo Yes the collie cross looked a heavy type :thumbs: Seen it have a little dash on sunday afternoon :whistling: on my permission ATB TOMMY :thumbs: lol yeah its definately him i'm sure of it. just goes to show how small the world is so where you from then?

no mate i dont own any lurchers i went out with my mates dog tonight.i saw the first one while out with the terriers and couldnt belive it but to see a pure white one in the same day which was playing about with a normal coloured one is unbeliveable. my mates dad said he saw one in the field i saw it today a while back but i couldnt belive it until i saw it today.

lol ye i get ya.its about a 45 min drive to the moors mate really unusual for around here no ones ever seen one apart from me and a few others and these sightings have been very recent. id have to have it stuffed if i should find it dead

Today i saw two white hares, one resembled a mountian or blue hare as it was a greyish white colour and the other was pure white. i live in south yorkshire (dinnington) and i thought that only the brown hare was present in these parts. i saw one in the day time and one tonight while out lamping (pure white one) and this one was sat with a normal coloured brown hare . Are these not brown hares or are they just a colour mutation? thanks Sambo123.

thanks for the replies lads it was good fun! haha its my mate using his hat to pick the rats up. thats why we leave it to him lol. no weils disese for us... and to 'chocthecock' there not plummers mate the small one is a russell type and if you look in the last pic the black and white bitch is my russell x patterdale and the white dog on the right to her is a dog out of a litter of hers. sambo

went out yesterday with the mates and dogs and got a few rats. only got 18 nothing special compared the numbers you lads on here get but it was fun.
