  5. Because people who are expecting a fox dont like it when they dig out 2 tonne of soil and dirt to find their dog is baying at a rabbit. i dont dig but i can understand why people who do keep their dogs well away from mr. bunny rabbit. sambo

  11. as soon as the pups have lost their pup teeth and all of their adult teeth have come through.do not enter them to rats when they still have their pup teeth. the pup must also seem mature and mentally ready to start. sambo
  12. went out with a mate yesterday to a spot where we thought there might be a few rats. we got 6 in total nothing legendary but we enjoyed it. unfortunately though my friends jill ferret was killed by my bitch terrier scamp. shes never bothered them before but it wasnt really her fault . we heard a rat squealing down a hole because the ferret had hold of its arse. my bitch stuck her face down the hole and pulled out the ferret rather than the rat probably due to confusion because they were both latched onto each other. a bit sad but it cant be helped now . ill get sum pics up soon. sam .
  13. any body got any pics of any working lakelands? id like to see some. thanks sam.
  14. I have never owned a terrier that didnt need to know its place now and again......its all they understand IMHO.....they dont give a feck about much else. Do you just let your dogs run wild then?..........personally that would drive me mad. No suggesting anyone give a lurcher such treatment, that would mentally destroy a lurcher.........as I said JMO. Maybe you could add a pearl of wisdom or do you not put any effort in to your terriers at all? effort? so do you tend to put much effort into 'battering the c*nt' so to speak? this sounds like a brilliant way to ' let the terrier know
  15. if you bought a terrier mate, you asked for a terrier. thats it. theres no " what should i do" . a terrier is a little spark of energy. get used to it.and for the people who say "batter the c*unt" you dont deserve to be on this site. Sam
  16. i heard its the show strains that are longer in the leg and generally a bigger build, find a good working strain pal. sam
