  1. BRI what tts is your pup looks a fair size mate?
  2. As an all rounder i would be tempted with a 3/4 collie grey should do all game no problem
  3. They were bred to open up on rabbits, crossed with a greyhound it would seem to produce a good looking lurcher however i'm guessing it would open up all the time
  4. very nice pup there, what way bred is it?
  5. A friend had one, jumped out of his arms on to concrete so a 3-4ft drop at most and snapped both its front legs completely, was pts. They are nippy little things but far to brittle boned for any terrain other than a bowling lawn....
  6. the only thing guaranteed would be that it would have the speed to catch a rabbit. You wouldnt know what its feet, stamina, nose, drive etc would be like
  7. looks a racy thing, hows it bred mate?
  8. He's a good length, looks well atb
  9. The only use the boxer has had is teaching the pup how to jump ..... and be an idiot.
  10. bit of a coinsedance, went into the kennel this morning and the pup was chewing on two swallows he must of nailed as they wernt young ones. saluki/grey/cat is his breeding
  11. Thats some good breeding on the greyhound side bret lee wasnt he the fastest dog to race on the track ever?
  12. Here's a question, would a heavily saturated saluki type or even pure saluki have a chance at taking a hare up in Cumbria in the small fields i have to run? probably not compared to a 3/4 bred collie grey or a saluki/grey or various grey/whip saturated lurchers. But i doubt the lurchers used for the fields up here could go down to the fens and run 4/5 runs for 4/5 minutes at a time. horses for courses thats all it is isn't it? You have a dog that is suited to the land you like to run
  13. A month on and 2 inches grown! great. Had a muscle pull 5 days ago so been on the lead for 5 days and will be for a another few although he looks sound, just to be on the safe side. No doubt when i let him off for the first time in a week he'll run around like a daft thing that got him the pull in the first place! cheers
  14. have you tried muzzling both of them and let them get on with it? we did that with the two boxer bitches we have and they sorted each other out with no damage because of them being muzzled.
  15. your inbox is full mate, was going to ask, the pups pulled up with a muscle pull so been on the leader for 4 days now. How long should i keep him on it for?

  16. [bANNED TEXT] RM how much are you wanting for a copy of it? been looking for one
  17. wouldnt it depend on how far your going, not to stunt their growth from over work as a pup. I take mine up and down the road maybe 3/4-1 mile at a slow jogging but dont want to effect his growth so i woulnt take him miles on end. hows olds the pup?
  18. i've seen some run on hare, just the one course and they had the straight line speed, but not the turning. these are bred for a different purpose though and excel at it, edited to say sorry read it wrong read it as a normal 3/4 bred bull grey not a reverse. terrier mans dog?
  19. beefs to expensive for them
  20. well when i took the dog to the vets to be pts, as soon as we got in the vets it knew something was wrong, not a nice look in her eyes. It was worse when they gave her the injection. I dont know what the dog was thinking but it wasn't positive
