    Decided to take the pup out on some good ferreting ground last sunday, good sandy ground easy to net so thought would be ideal as the lack of cover aswell meant she couldnt miss them easily. Netted a small warren up with only 5 visible holes on the bank, ferret goes down and soon enough the first one bolts into the net, she was on it in an instant. good start. 2nd one comes out of a bolt hole we didnt see and is away. 3rd straight into the net and same again and then a final the same way. decided to keep one in the field. by this point she was jumping about like a lunatic as we were walking in

    My pup seems to have red eyes and from time to time theres green mucus? what could this be, i've given her some golden eye drops to try and bring it down but i really dont know the cause of it nothing seems to be stuck in her eye or anything. any help would be much appreciated

    Just got a tekel back from spain and i cant understand why i dotn see many of them over here, excellent markers and bushing dogs. plus in german there name means badger dog

    the young pup bitch i've got now is off a good working collie used for sheep and cattle non of this KC shite, mothers off the track. just hope it grows up to be a good decent dog. but i suppose thats up to me

    good to hear, in my area there are plenty of roe and fox but not much in the way of rabbits just wondering if it was the same in the majority of cumbria, obviously not atb
