Not tried that yet mate, off to Oistins tonight for the fish fry, was here 20 years ago and had a great night down there.. The locals are the most friendly of any carribean island imo, we've been to Antigua the last few years but prefer Barbados, beautiful place and really welcoming people... We're on all inclusive but will hardly be in the hotel, that's my idea of hell, get out amongst the locals and see what you can find... I guess you get across here a bit with your girls family?

Cheers Geth, I'll give you a bell when I'm back

Thanks mate Rods are in the bag mate, loads of lures so hopefully catch something, had a snorkel early and there are thousands of fish over the reef just off the beach, loads of bait fish flashing around so hopefully at least..

Spent a fair chunk of time working down that way mate, fished that river at the mouth a few times, plus the deeps, witches point and few other places I forgot the names of...stayed at Lantwitt Major...good times..shit to see the mess people bring to places, we are vermin mate..

Geoff went on to design Carbon-tek rods, which were cracking rods but lacked the nostalgia of the Normark rods and imo the Normaks are the best... I've also got the Normark 11ft multi-quiver in the rod bag and the Normark 13ft heavy feeder (somewhere?)... I worked in Exeter Amgling Centre as a youngster which Geoff owned, he regularly took me fishing with him, up to Evesham on the Avon mainly, I'd sit and watch him fish the river matches.. I wandered off to watch Dave Harrel once, and got a bollocking off Geoff when I got back to his swim... "you'll learn nothing more sat behind him than you w

Over 30 years of sea gear, loads of boxes that are never used... wrecking lures, bass lures, jigs etc.. thought I'd sort a few out today as we are sorting the boat... if only I caught as many fish as the lures that have caught me over the years lol

MAP Dave Harrel rods are cracking, got a couple here...also an original Nomark Titan 13ft match rod, it's actually a proto type that was gifted to me from the bloke who designed them (Geoff Salisbury) he was a very good friend of mine and my first ever boss, he's no longer with us but I've loads of good memories of him..absolutely top match fisherman and someone who taught me loads, not just about fishing...

Got to be honest and say i thought 1923 was poor compared to 1883 and Yellowstone.. I didn't really care about any of the characters, thought Harrison Ford over acted constantly, Spencer is no Rip... cheesy scenes, too much CGI, f**k off with fake Leopards and lions and all that bollocks...nah not a patch on the other 2.. but still better than most things on tv

That's not like you! Lol Not much to gloat about these days, beating UTD is almost a given...17 league losses!! WTF.. I've said for ages it's not (for me anyway) a question of not winning trophies, it's the whole way the club is being ran, the chopping of managers, the constant awful recruitment of players..the turning decent players into shit then loaning them out only to watch them become world beaters, selling McTominay and keeping casimero on £375k a week.. the list goes on....
-
Well that sums the season up... @WILF and @gnasher16
-
Yep, shit state of affairs mate, neither side deserves to be in the champions league... but.. the 100m would be a bonus for UTD now they're skint lol
-
Morning mate, was a really good night.. first half was a bit shit but the subs made the difference... had a few beers after then at a gig in Exeter on Friday night, yesterday was a bit testing! Lol
-
Don't know if you watch it mate, but Ruud Gullit is on Gary Nevilles Over Lap podcast this week, really interesting..talking about that AC Milan team and the drills they used to be defensively that brilliant... said they'd play 11 against 4 defenders and couldn't get through them... worth a watch, he comes over as a top bloke as well
-
Good luck mate, always had a soft spot for Bristol City lived in Bristol for 7 years as a kid...
-
You a Utd fan mate?
-
Fair play to you mate, is that 7 aside? Or full 11 a side? My back is f****d, hamstrings are tight constantly... still miss it though...
-
Home in the boot bag, where they've been for best part of 10 years! Lol
-
Was talking about him at work this week... a manager finally using him properly, I think they paid £25m or something like that for him... what a steal. Yeah I'm pleased for him, he's talked about like Maradonna there now, never saw that coming lol
-
Last time I was at a European night game Andy Cole scored...oh how times have changed lol
-
Thank you mate, yeah really looking forward to it.... im looking forward to watching Bruno close up, his attitude might be in question but is quality is certainly not...I reckon his movement off the ball will be another level
