i used to take mine over the river stand in up to my waist with a longish lead on the dogs and then walk backwards so they will swim to you great for low impact exercise when the ground is hard ....also would shampoo them at the same time . -

shame that sounds like it could of been a very good dog .. i know its tempting to get them out when they show willing but not holding them back for a few months has messed this dog up .. hope it dont go on the merry go round like a lot of others do when ruined early.

what about a licence to hunt? should of left it as it was and everyone buy a licence like fishing on the rivers ect plenty of money for the govenment and we keep on hunting .. instead we get hit with a wast of time and money ban which dont work ..

if i can do it then trust me there is no reason why you or anyone else can not also do it, the mag is made up of articles from its readers so is only ever going to be as good as the articles it receives from its readers. maybe i will sit down one night and do a rough write up see what i think and if it seems ok i will send it in .. that's all it takes i will get on it tonight .

tbh none of the mags about are much good these days ,didnt get edrd for a few years and when i got it last year i honestly thought i wasted my money nothing like it used to be as for the countrymans weekly thats crap to when it was shooting news .. prob down to contributers mind not writing anymore and before anyone says why dont you send an article in i cant seem to put in writing what i have in my mind lol

most farmers i have met would be more than happy to shoot any lurcher they see on there land, sad but true . as for just walking about where i live most people come over and smooth the dog i have so not all look at lurchers as killers.
