  1. ive had some the size of half a cricket ball, bledy minging!
  2. the one ive got is 1 ft long and is only 45w, just worries me when you enclose them ion a wooden box!!
  3. im in the same boat, i have 18 x 18 x 24 inch boxes with single dogs in, ive bought a couple of 1ft tube heaters for it but im dubious about using it, if my dogs get smasehed up they sleep in the kitchen but i think a tube heater in a box that size would be over kill and also making a wooden surround to box them in seems silly, i dont want a fire!!
  4. ive 3/4 read his new one, kinda getting board of it, but saying that i got board of work them hard, treat them like heros, just makes you feel in adequate with all the blank days we get.......

  7. i cant wait till the bump in my missus belly is old enough to come ferreting
  8. do you have ferrets? same kept happening to me, and the fleas were jumping off the ferrts on to the dogs through the cage, we got a couple of them flea flogger with a insect growth regulator in it and its done a sterling job!

  11. maybe its just me but i leave for work in the dark and return in the dark so my dogs only get one walk a day at the mo and its on the lead, im going to get my bike back out as i find its alot better for my dogs! i let one of them of the lead when i take them in the day as my dog in my avatar runs off, he never used to but he turned that magical 1 year old and all hell broke loose, ive tried every thing, long leads, electric collars, thrashings, being nice, not shouting, shouting plus more, hes just one of them dogs i guess, and the one thing he loves to do is to get to ground!
  12. my best working hob's knob (hehehe excuse the pun) keeps getting trapped and staying out, i know you can put it back in and i have done this several times but the same thing keeps happening, is there any thing i can do except go to the vets? im pretty hard up atm and want to explore all the options first regards ben
  13. i use hibiscrub or salt water in a syringe to blast the dirt out then a sponge to soak it out, fox bites are dirty but dont always use antibiotics, the dogs body will just get used to them after a while and they wont work as well

  15. same as one of mine, turned out to have a awsum broken coat, he gets hot in -10 weather!!
  16. i donno about the rest of you but i go for a day out with the dogs, ferrets and friends, it doesnt matter if i get 1 or 100
  17. ok thanks,so being the expert you are..you saying theres no risk to ferreting badger holes? no i wouldnt go near one!
