Did you use a standard 50/1 oil mix or a bit more oil for added smoke? the smoke is not what actaully makes the rats bolts its the fumes replacing the air so the rats cant breath, the smoke is there so you can see if it going straight in and out another hole i like it when smoke stops coming out a hole....it means one about to bolt
  8. thanks lads, it wasnt planned but got put in touch by a mate and boom i have another dog!! ive got high hopes, hes alot smarter than my older pup and has alot more front!!! he drew the other pup out from under the ferret cage today by his cheek!!!!
  9. Thanks vduben, now I can see what I have to do to my new strimmer engine. its also got clip to hold the throttle open for blasting it down and the hose is long enough so you can do several holes with out moving it
  10. picked him up the other week, nothing fancy just worker to worker sire was a well proven 10 year old patt and the dam was a well proven 4 year old patt x lakeland hes already the boss of the 4 month old black patt ive got!!
  11. 200 sat on a jensen tracked chipper? i dont know if a climbing saw would be too noisey? i was going to use my old one but got a cracking strimmer engine off my dad in stead and got a stainless pipe welded on the exhaust and hydraulic hose jubileed on the end

If thats your attitude to diging well then you should think about giving it up.There are times reasons when they have to be culled,but if you kill all you dig including pregnant vixon's at the end of the day your only killing your own sport.The lads with the rifle's and snares also poisin,not to mention the gun packs take care of enough foxs without us lads killing everything we dig. you kill one, another moves in...........

  20. my dog came away after 2 hours on his first dig, it was hard going and had only got 3 foot, went back 3 months later on new years eve and bolted 3 and dug one all in the same spot...... hes only had 5 or 6 digs since but has stayed every time.......we will see next season
  21. havent used them much used my barryvox more and i prefer it also a mate whos used bellman for years wants to get a barryvox since using mine. spot on every time for me mate but dont like the ortovox transmitter i keep that in the bag as a spare though. is that the d1 collar?
