    ive got 3 dogs at the minuite and generally saying there ok, but if im cooking the rabbit up out side for them my older dog guards them or if there is a bone or something it can all kick off, i just have to make sure there is no desirables in the yard

    what kind of spade do you take? i use a grafter with a short end on it if you get me? but i also take a round mouth, i take about 60 nets, knife, gloves and when we do this certain place i take a 2m bar!

    Could you "give a monkeys" whether you come back with the ferret or not? Ferrets are a fiver. If one doesn't come out I'll just leave it and get onother one serious? i wouldnt, my hobs a brill worker, only comes out when the warrens empty, i wouldnt leave him, i use collars and wouldnt ferret with out them, i like a dig too so i tend to net and enter the ferrets not how most of you do it but its my way

    i went out for a days ferreting, nothing serious just a nice day out with my mate who i hadnt seen in a while, first set of holes got netted up but missed one hole and one bolted, dam but my trusty snatch and grab hob had hold of one in there so i dug it out,we moved on to the next 8 holer under the corner of a hedge in a field, sat and waited for a good 10 minuites and nothing so i locate the hob and jill and there both in the same place, 5ft down in a stop end!!! as im digging 2 bolt, one taking the net with it which my terrier soon got hold of and......killed for me!!! i finaly get down to

    Shame you weren't a bit closer ,Could do with a hand i had 3 digs yesterday 1.9m 2.1m and 1.2 on my own.Feel Like i've been hit by a bus today Seen many lads come and go over the years so know how you feel.. thats good going mate, all with the same dog? it is a shame like you say that your not closer, its strange how people change so quickly, i do some ferreting too with the lad but he goes twice a week and goes lamping, i only ferret for a bit of dog food and fun, bin and got 16 today and i dont know what to do with them all, i can onlt get 3 in the freezer!! i was packing up when i got 10

    the thing is if you pernamently cover the roof it stops there being rain in the run and halfs the wind whistling around, also helps if the end blocks are half bricked up or fully bricked up

    mine is nothing like yours will be, i was lucky and already had drainage, im in a tight area in the garden, it was allready concreted with drains etc, i just put up galvo sections and but boxes inside and a roof heres the pannels http://www.premieran...dog_run_panels/ heres the roof (they use the stuff on farm building sheds etc) http://www.slecladdi....uk/eternit.htm the roofing stuff is heavy but you dont get that unwanted noise like you do from metal roofing pannels and you can run a gutter to a large sealed waterbutt, hope this helps mate edit to say you'll get the roof for free o

    ive just done my kennels, nothing special but make sure you have good drainage to sewers and if i was you id use rigged press formed concrete pannels for the roof, the onlt way a theif will get in there will be smashing them or an angle grinder and both will make a hell of a noise and also have you thought about just buying galvo 5cm bar gate pannels and bolting them together and using breeze block up to 1m to seperate each kennel? id also go with your idea of drainage channels that run down the front of all the kennels then running into a drain, then there is no under earth pipes under the k
