you half the length of the net so 100yds would make a 50 yd net. pass the running line through each mesh in the top then through the end pin and through the bottom again going through the other end pin and splice together making 1 big loop, do not thread this down the edge of the long nets length or the running line is the length of working net x2 + 2 yds so a 50 yd net needs 102 yds in length.. this is how my nets are..

mine would be 1. let somebody else drive so you dont lose your car and license if caught 2. be sure your partner in crime is slower so hes the one most likely to be caught ( i have seen the prison thread and i dont want to convert) 3. take some money just incase you need a taxi home after your friend is caught 4. be sure your friend is built like a horse so you can load him up with the catch 5. clear everything you can as there is no point going home if your mate is only carrying 10 pheasent and 30 rabbits when you know fine well he can carry double that.. p.s. i nee

thats the thing.. all are criminals so just lump them all together and work them hard so they are tired. you do know where your to go and what sort of people are in the prisons before you commit crime if i had his money i might wish for a second shot at life.. -

there is all the info you will need in that book to get you up and running... its a good book and a must for anybody wishing to learn trad netting imo

the thing is we dont all work nets the same and as your new to longnetting the trad way its possible imo to have too much info and this leading to an overload just run your nets for now and practice with the info that you have and devolop in your own time..
