if the 3mm is to sag as it weighs more just make sure its tight on the top... throw an extra loop around the pegs and dont worry as it will go no were unless you have many rabbits in the net..
i would use a net like this although not ideal, maybe some plastic thread to stitch the ends together and then you can just overlap the ends and not splice. if you do it tight enough you will i guess be able to compress the line to minimise the snagging..
then again it could just be a quick set banters on with
often i tried to have a perfect net but there are so many variables like sheet
brilliant lol was their not a woman in Ireland a few years back died from shagging a Alsatian she had a allergic reaction to god seamen!
it wasnt her i seen her this morning
lol banter ... and now ya 50p lighter
i hate work and working in general. i dont hate but have a big dislike for cats, summer and all those people who think they are better than me...
admittedly they might be and that might be why i dont like them:)
i like my own company, weekends and winter.. cant think of anything nicer than a quick walk out on the moor tops, on my own when its a cold frost winter morning and most of them around are in bed nursing a bad head...
Cuz I've heard it's red Hot and just popping up there not knowing where to go and not on permission you might aswell go down the police station and give them a few hundred quid.
some parts are red hot.. i have permision up there and have pulled my self. i was told by the farmer of somebody getting there car taken off them for poaching near him..
but just now were i go police are pulling people because of diesel theft from motors.. some dumb f**k has been drilling car diesel tanks and is on cctv drilling a petrol tank by mistake
You will end up with your nets full of holes or stolen working them like that. Rabbits will chew holes if they are left in for any length of time
Best to set and walk in the field.
Well done on the catch
no need for breading stock... unless mixi comes through you will have more next year.. if you leave it alone through summer it should not be a problem
by leaving them 2 things happen around here.. 1st thing is the dog men come on and second the farmers not happy and you can lose permision, this is how i come by some of my permision... the man before me was not putting the effort in.
nothings a given.. early season you can expect to lose some with a mesh that size i started early but i have them last week slip through a 4 inch mesh as the net was getting killed.. and if its a hard winter it might still happen later on..
it was cartoons for me...
i like the old scooby doo with the crap colour
popeye, touche turtle, top cat, captain cave man, and the wombles etc
but lets not forget monkey magic

i did think of asking why your end pins are so far from the net but i did not want to open a can of worms..lol
simply for me i can get in closer to the wall and there is a lot of walls and dont feel i need longer so i just make what suits that all
The reason I have mine at a yard long is the angle from the endpin to the top of the first peg. The shorter the distance is the steeper the angle, the steeper the angle the less tension you can put on the head line as it can cause the end pin to move as you apply tension, even when the pin is put in at an angle away from the net.

Why do you and smithie use such short bridles? Mine are at least a yard long.
