Smithie, do you angle your nets away from the oncoming rabbits? Most traditional netters do, and the reason for the angle is to allow more net to lay on the floor before the rabbits hit the wall of netting, thereby increasing the chances of the rabbits claws catching in the netting. Even when walked slow not every rabbit hops up to the net, but most do. 
  
  
  
  
i always angle my pegs away from the rabbits and its not something i think about it has become the norm and how it just happens.  i also dont normaly tail a net  as most drops are the width of the field and the fields are small gr
