2 hours walking a day for a 12 wk old babe ?Sounds a lot I'm sure, walk I take my dogs on is a track which takes about half an hour to walk round. Older dogs generally f**k off on scents, pups I've had just amble. It's not a race mate, I'm not talking flat out walking here see that's the thing when you say something on here, it's hard to paint a picture. An hours walk is a lot of different things to different people, maybe I should have explained it better. Just get the pup out and about Have you mellowed out, or is this the real baw? . Definitely 'not' the reply I would've expected!

Never mind breed standards, KC, C O O, or whatever, you'll find that 'sheepdog/herding dog' is lurking pretty close in whatever type of 'supposed' 'purebred' types of running dog you can suggest.

I will say the worst coats I've ever seen have been with Bedlington blood in. Will NOT have a dog with bedlington , or bull blood, don't see the point of either. Ok, I know I'll get a bit of flack from the bedlington people, but I can handle it

just ive seen a few posts and replies on here and poeple have said there not strong enough of wouldent be my 1st choice.... was just wondering why that was and if anybody was a fan of working pure whippets...pros/cons ... thanks You'll get the majority of people on here who've never owned, or even seen, a purebred whippet working, slag them off, 'shit feet, shit stamina, too fragile, not game enough, too game for their own good, etc etc, the list is endless, and there are people on here who do work them and know that they're a great versatile dog that's always ready for a day or night out
