  1. Nice looking bitch that. Has the look of scottish hare hunter's dog about her. How old she mate?
  2. Come on now fellas, these days it's all about finnesse. Yes, I agree, bowsaws, chainsaws, ripsaws, even hacksaws have their place,........... but 'coping saws' is where it's really at. ........... AMEN ☺
  3. Or more correctly, what he does know about whippets isn't worth knowing ☺
  4. There are 5, 3 owned by one person, that live about 3 miles from me, the other 2 owned by 2 different people, that live less than a 5 minute walk from me. I See them pretty regularly. The first 3 I mentioned are owned by someone that really does understand the breed, and has had the same and very similar breeding for years, and his dogs are phenominal animals. The other 2 are owned by people that are swayed by all this crufts shite etc, and the difference between the first 3 dogs is alas quite shameful
  5. This post pretty much sums it up for me too phil. Was never interested if my dogs were the 'ultimate' type for anything ?
  6. Jesus H christ! I know you don't like some of the lads on here, especially me ☺, which I'm more than comfortable with, but by f**k, you don't half spout some shite! You don't big your dogs up, or consider yourself an expert?! You own and breed the best bedlingtons in this country, you are keen on telling people on this site regularly enough. And no-one has your knowledge of bedlingtons, again, you keep telling people on this site regularly enough. Ffs change the tune. We don't all have to like each other on here, but please, stop making out you're the bedlington messiah. Oh yeah
  7. Black neck ............... agent PROVOCATEUR ☺ ............... ? ?
  8. You never seen a good one then?
  9. Well, I don't know about any first cross type being the best at any one thing. But I have to say, the first cross deer/greys I have seen, have been better general alround lamp dogs, taking good numbers of a variety of quarry, than any other first cross. I'll duck out now ☺
  10. Not having a dig here mate, but does it really matter what he wants it for, or if there are better types suited to what he wants it for? He wants a first cross deerhound/greyhound ?
  11. One of the best I've personally seen was a mate's border/lakeland x sealyham/russell. Must have been about 35 years ago. Border/lakeland sire was brought down from the midlands, sealyham/russell dam from the valleys, south wales.
  12. Bill, I'm assuming 'grilf' would be 'granny I'd like to fumigate', or somthing along those lines ?
  13. I get what you're saying mate. But surely if you outcross to a type that shares your dogs original lineage, then it aint 'really' outcrossing, more breeding some of the original blood back into your lines? And by the way, just to clarify things, I am in no way a bedlington expert or whatever, but have a couple of mates that are, compared to me, and these days wouldn't touch a kc beddy with a bargepole ?
  14. There'll probably be someone on here to come along to put it all into context. But as far as I can ascertain, fell, border, beddies etc, come from the same rootstock, so I wouldn't really think you'd be too far away from any of those breeds by adding a drop of related blood, then breeding back in anyway. If that makes sense
  15. Hehehe knew you wouldn't get into a debate which you CANNOT explain yourself out of. Over and out ?
  16. Oooh do you think you are clever? You lying hypercritical as f**k, know all/f**k all bellend! Trust me fella, I've met a couple of 'greater than god' types such as yourself over the years, and believe me, if you want to get into any debate of any kind, you WILL come out as the losing, hypercritical charlatan that you are. Let's begin, if you're up to it
  17. I've not owned a bedlington, but know a few that have, or owned them in the past, either pures or mainly beddy bred. I certainly don't have much personal knowledge of them at all, ............ but can hear the absolute bullshit spouted about them on here a mile off, and by some long standing members ?
  18. Apparently? ......... FAGGOT!!
  19. Looks chancey that. Not a type I'd normally take on, and a tad narrow down the back and loins, but chancey nevertheless. Atb with it ☺
  20. Henry westons 8.2%. I am indeed a slacker ?
  21. Shut the f**k up, you're probably one of these nobjockys that think you're 'pure english' ?
  22. As an aside, I'd also like to say that us bean eating, henry weston's cider drinking enthusiasts need to stick together in these tumultuous times ?........... ?
  23. Lol it's all only in jest fella, as I'm sure you're fully aware ?
  24. Not keen on bull crosses, so like I said, you're still a c**t to me! ......... ?......... ?
