    I can tell you straight up mate, ferral cats can grow miles bigger than normal moggies. I've trapped them. Not saying they were 'big cat' size but they were massive compared to your average moggie

    What I find intersting is the fact, yep FACT, that ferral domestic cats can grow far larger than normal. And I'm not joking, trapped quite a few when I was working in pest control years ago. Could some of these sightings be that sort of thing?

    To both these posts. Speaking for myself, I've aready said that these days, one of these pups would suit me. Don't want to go lamping for 3 or 4 hours at a time, 3 or 4 nights a week, on suitable lamping ground, anymore. And I totally get that you've bred them to suit your ground and type of hunting on that ground. I think that's the point alot of lads aren't grasping. And like I said in my original post in this thread, when I was into my lamping, and on 90% of the ground I worked my dogs on, day or night, a lurcher of this type would've had a very low catch rate. Like you've said

    Was that the fossilised bones found in chad mackem? Machairodus kabir, was what I just googled, but it said they could have weighed up to 500 kg, which is still massive, and much bigger than any big cat of today Just seen kenya ?

    Greyman, only joking with you mate lol. I for one, certainly do believe there are big cats living in the wild in britain. Have read a few bits and pieces lately, and was a bit surprised by the amount of sightings, about a thousand each year, in britain. Taking it all into account, it's harder to believe big cats aren't living in the wild here. I look forward to your posts about them. Keep it up G ?

    Good strategy that. I've laid on some rocks in mid wales, to warm up after a night of heavy drinking myself, on several occasions over the years. Definitely works ? ?

    This thread could go on for endless pages, with the pros and cons of bull breeds. To me it's pretty simple. Knowing what any bull breed is/can be capable of, no matter how friendly, well behaved, child friendly etc they might be, should be enough to ensure no-one EVER leaves a child alone with one, for any length of time. As has been said, you get dickheads, chavs, and downright clueless c**ts owning these dogs, that are only into these dogs for status. Dog laws in many countries, especially the uk, are a joke. These dogs, and many other large, powerful breeds, are potentially lethal

    What I will say though, is that in every contact sport, you get the likes of barton, mcregor, etc that think they are above the law, common decency and respect. They certainly are not. Don't care how good anyone is in their particular sport, if they act a total c**t, which the above mentioned do, they should be thrown out of that sport, sooner rather than later
