  1. Was just being a tad facetious lol. I know you know what you're doing. Good luck with it ?
  2. Junkyard cur?!! If he aint got 4-5 seasons 'graft' behind it, you can't even possibly be thinking of putting it over your bitch?!! ?
  3. Can't catch a disease from keeping whippets, FACT .................. ??
  4. Got to be honest, I like a bit of deerhound in a lurcher. And would rather that than saluki blood. Kin el, I'd better scarper!! ?
  5. If you don't like deerhounds, they add f**k all. It's in your head ?
  6. Just one question, as I've never heard of it, but what on earth is THRUTCHING?!! ?
  7. Probably a puma, they're bigger than a leopard
  8. kin el G, you'll now have half the bull cross brigade posting on here now, that have just the dog that could do that! ?

As above, where is he? He not been on in ages. I do recollect he had a couple of issues regarding drink etc, but I found him to be fairly open and honest, which is quite commenable in this day and age. Be interesting to hear his opinions on this covid 19 malarky
  11. Beddy/grey x bull/whippet was the sire to one of my first lurchers. Only 21" tts, but he was a murderous little fcuker lol. He was smooth coated too
  12. Not got one at moment. But have had a couple over the years. They are NOT a specialist sort of lurcher, but as far as I'm concerned they are THE best allround lamping dog that WILL take everything
  13. Some nice grain in that stock fella. Work your magic on it. And I'm sure, given your old posts on that particular brand of rifle, you'll have a cracker to be proud of, AND KEEP lol ?
  14. Good post that mate. I knew a fella once that was madly into working fox on the lamp with his dogs. He couldn't stand bull x dogs at all. He had a pair, brother and sister, of collie/greyhound x whippet/greyound x greyhound. Lethal on foxes and good on deer
  15. Yep, likewise, one of the toughest allrounders I've seen is a 3/4 greyhound collie, or grey/collie/grey, from HANCOCK'S!! OH NO!! Lol
  16. Agree with a fair bit of that mate. But it might not be anything to do with collie blood in the fella's bitch. Seen all sorts of crosses and purebreds stalking, hesitating etc etc, and two of the moodiest, most sensitive dogs I've seen were a deer/grey 1st x bitch, and a 1st x beddy x whippet/grey dog ?
  17. Cracking piece of very interesting history there jetro ?
  18. G, you say you've seen two big cats in two counties. Were these counties in close proximity, and could the cats you seen have been the same cat, or two different species? Not doubting you, by the way. Just trying to take it in from all angles ?
  19. With all this ancestry caper, are you related to the legendary harry greb? ?
  20. Told you not to mess with those weejeee boards!! 'They' gave those ancestry wallas your family history! ?
  21. That's the thing I don't get. Why does everyone these days assume that everyone MUST be carrying a camera or mobile phone with inbuilt camera, every time they are out in the countryside?! It's not as though most people expect to see a non native big cat when they go for a stroll! I've travelled god knows how many miles over the years with the dogs, shooting, fishing etc, and I've never had a camera on me, couldn't afford one years ago, and hardly ever had my mobile on me
  22. Just had to google that, I'd never heard of it lol
  23. I used to like deputy dawg. Cracking cartoon series ?
