    There is a strange anomally here though The offence is allowing anyone under the age of 18 access to the said gun, But a 14-17 year old can shoot unsupervised on land that they have permission for, but allowing them access to the gun is an offence???? My kids are up and away , but if they were here they would have a letter saying they were allowed to shoot in the house, granting them acces to the guns !! lol ATB

    Theres not really a lot of arguing going on, just a silly statment made that has been sorted, It`s just getting repetitive because someone keeps cutting and pasting the same stuff over and over Don`t worry, we`re not quite the lurcher forum yet !

    Is it just me or am I reading the same posts over and over and over ,,,,,,,,,ad infinitum! Getting boring now. Hopefully any new shooter that was reading this will have taken out the advise they were looking for and will make decisions based on advice from the experienced shooters on here ! ATB

    FAC for what ??? if you mean the 52, that was on the owners FAC 7 years ago when I used it !! This is an airgun forum and people discuss FAC weapons as well so avoid jumping at folk that discuss them, The implication they may be breaking the law will not be appreciated, especially by FAC holders like myself!.     Ey up This is not about gun snobbery at all. I have stated that budget rifles can do a good job getting folk involved in shooting, BUT there is a world of difference actually using one to kill an animal. They are not a hunting tool. I KNOW that some get descent results out to 30 yrds or whatever, but inconsistant power delivery etc is a well known trait of cheap guns and this is unacceptable for hunting. The point of this debate is to advise folk looking for a budget gun for hunting to go and buy a quality second hand tool rather than a cheapo new plinker. My opinion of these guns is

    Have had to pack out the rear mount with photgraphic film on one or two scopes before Try that and see how you get on. ATB

    An I`m better than you attitude lol Have to state now though,, They are some of the best dogs i`ve worked and am enjoying getting out with my lads two just now, I`m one of those blokes that think lots of crosses have lots to offer , but I do like the old toffy nosed Salukis though

    If you are a firearms holder I would have a word with your FLO and ask him to sort it out, tell him that being on farmwatch hinders your shooting and explain how you ended up in this situation. Witha bit of luck your FLO should be a sensible type Good luck ATB
