Ey up This is a rescue ferret so I have no idea of her exact age, suspect she is young but I only got her at the beginning of the summer Not that much action with me I meant,, no idea about her history but it doesn`t seem like she has been worked. They always get a fair chance from me anyway, and I never get rid of them, just retire them from working and make sure they are never bred. To be honest ,,in 22 years Iv`e not seen many that won`t work given a fair chance. They usually just click to it one day, as has hopefully happened here! ATB

Ey up Went out today (buggerd ankle and all) for a wee ferret about on a new permission. Took the auldest lad (to run about due to aforementioned ankle) and a wee polecat Jill that has not seen much action. After the first burrow (where the auldest let one get away by being the slowest lurcher,,Erm!! I mean Laddie in the word) the wee polecat seemed to be pissing about again She had done this the last time out with Roxy and it was not shaping up well for her. After a repeat on the next set of holes she was back in the box and was being sent to coventry as a pet for the grandbairns.

Some fekin idiot has trapped ducks on a pond in Perthshire with fenn traps. SSPCA have got involved (which is always bad news) But how fukin idiotic can you get!!!

Gas ram. It will transform the gun. Theoben had some left last time I called them but I cannot remember what cal they were. There are "issues" with fitting the different calibre gas ram. ATB -

Aye BASA are crap! 7 months trying to get a cert for my insurance cover and eventually gave up and got a full refund! My mate is having the same prob just now. Went with the SGA for 35 quid and they are superb. ATB

Aye I also have the Parker Hale 1200 safari deluxe in .243 wearing a Meopta 7x56 and a Wildcat P8 mod superb set up Every bit as accurate as my old Tika T3 with the Ase Utra My preferance in mods is for the P8 as I found the balance a bit out withthe Ase, sound wise there was nowt in it! ATB

Aye Out for a shoot today,, Hit a stunning woodcock and had to cross a wee burn to collect it, Fell in and wrenched and sprained ma poor wee ankle. All afternoon in the infirmary and am now laid up, in bed wi a half pint oh whiskey and the hunting life. Total agony ,,and ah`m shootin on Saterday!! Bollox! ATB
