Can I just say that cheap crap air rifles by SMK "et all" are not to be recommended for hunting!! they are a plinking tools only I expect loads of flak but ,so what?, These cheapos are not the right tool for someone who takes killing an animal with the responsibilty it deserves. Some guns are made for shooting at targets, plinking etc,, no fault there,they provide a good value introduction to the airgunning world,, but saying they are suitable recommendations for killing anything is not on. There are loadsa folk tuning them and getting results with them, but this leads to people thin

You could pick up a decent webly eclipse for 100 quid,, very nice gun to shoot,(tbh probaly the best springer webley made) Porbably 5 times the gun compared to a Hatsan, and a million times better than any SMK pish! ATB

Aye My impression of the Hatsans is that they are are crap as most budget guns. I wouls rather buy a BSA lighting for the same cash. Budget guns are for plinking in my book. some may make the power but they are still crap. An expensive gun bought secondhand cheap will always be better than a cheap gun!. ATB

i am supprised they aint shitting through the eye of a needle feeding fruit & veg .. watch grapes though there known to be toxic to dogs & ferrets as are onions :thumbs: All in moderation ! I have to admit when they have had grapes I peel them and remove seeds,, bit ovva polava but it`s just a wee treat for them. 90% of there diet is meat and dry feed, anything else is just to vary there diet and as a treat. Theres no such thing as a vegetarian ferret ,,!!! before anyone thinks of it!!
