Dont think your wrong as such good and bad in every one. what you have to remember is that the new generation of hunters are 10-30 yrs old, they dont do it now cos its illegal, theyve always done it but its not 'cool' to wear other stuff, i go coursing with young and old, some in tracksuits and trainers, some in full camo, some in shirt and tie, takes all sorts, but as long as we all like the same thing who cares. Been thinking about this more. This law is to stop unautherised access to under 18 yes ?? if that is so then it will surely only apply to people with under 18`s in the house. If you have children then securing your gun makes sense. I stil don`t like the way this is going, Up here in Scotland we have big noises wanting all aiguns banned so maybe I am a bit more sensitive to change than some of you Southerners! Not everyone who does not secure there guns is an "idiot,who does not give a shit" All my liscenced weapons are locked away, but my air guns are not. Why should they be ?? there are no children in my house and when I go out I lock the house. Can we move on from the tracksuit issue, Am I wrong about the element of lurcher owners I am talking about. I hope so cause it seems to me that I am seeing more and more of them in the lurcher scene. Ok I have used the trackie thing a a descriptive and understand that not everyone in a tracksuit is a chav but that doesn`t change what I am saying The comment is not bollocks as it is a fact. Ok here goes. Is it just me or has the lurcher world been taken over by the trackies tucked into socks brigade just a bit too much I have worked and been around lurchers all my adult life and am begining to hope that the hare ban is not lifted.(for the saftey of the hare population) The fact that it is illegal has gotten a lot of folk into lurchers and all for the wrong reasons, I hate to think of the carnage if they thought they had the right to go mental on the Hares "ass" (dear god!!). Bought the trigger kit for me 22 from rimfire magic and fitted it today. OMG what a difference!!, used the small (blue) tube on the sear and fitted the 2lb spring, prefect Nice crisp break and a clean pull, has completely done away with creep. Tried the 1.75lb spring but felt a wee bit wary as the gun gets a hard time.(paranoia as the sear was fine!) I cannot recommend this mod highly enough, The standard trigger has done me for years and only now I realise how shit it really is ! Best tenner spent on any gun. Yeh that was my point If the kids are granted permission to shoot in the house then leaving acces to the guns is not a crime. If they took them out with them thats different but the point was that allowing them acces to the guns in the house was an offence. I was half joking ,but it stands up. Allowing access to guns in house = offence Allow shooting permission inside house, then no offence if guns are not locked away !! Yay! . ATB

FAC for what ??? if you mean the 52, that was on the owners FAC 7 years ago when I used it !! This is an airgun forum and people discuss FAC weapons as well so avoid jumping at folk that discuss them, The implication they may be breaking the law will not be appreciated, especially by FAC holders like myself!. Hmmm! Lots of people never grew up on farms. The fact is we kill things and move dead animals about. Being a bit discrete is to our benefit really. Just saying put up or shut up doesn`t really cut it. Like saying an open abattoir in the town centre should sort the moaners out. My tuppence worth , I don`t pander to soft hearted antis ,but still act discretely in public places.
