  7. I still prefer separate lithium battery packs I've been out with a few that use all one lamp/batteries but they don't last for good nights lamping suppose there ok if you carry spare batteries

  10. Right I've had a silly number of pms off people trying there luck of trying to get a free or next to free pup like I said this was a offer I made to saltmoon only! So no more pms trying to get a free pup please because it's not happening!
  11. Only ever dog I've seen with back dew claws was a heavely collie bred lurcher I've only ever seen that once. I'm a firm believer in dew claws being removed on running dogs as they surve no perpose to a running dog especially one that works.i personally think it shows what these people putting litters on the ground that don't remove actually know about running dogs leaving them on a pup it also shows that there not willing to spend £4 at a vet getting them removed that also speaks volumes on the no expense spared ads that get put up all over the place
  12. I remember when I used to read the story tellers weekly (cmw) I read some dribble on the lines of it was how they (the tumbler)took there quarry they go in to a barrel roll....biggest load of shit I'd ever read just a drum roll to get pups shifted
  13. I can live with a little mixi but vhd as hit toward the end of the hunting season down my way it was like Barron land hard pushed to get enough runs on rabbits for my bitch I stopped a month earlier than normal but even now I've only seen a few young rabbits about no were near normal numbers I've a feeling going to be snooping about for new land to get on this coming season
  14. I'd take a punt on a Hancock bred dog if it was the cross I was after there no different from any other running dog there's still the same amount of chance 50/50 weather there'd be any good or not its all a short straws game the only bit that don't sit well for me is putting silly money in a peddling c*nts hands
  15. Saltmoon post your real name An are you on fb? Im waiting on some pups to be born out of my nearly 7yr old 26tts collie/grey x whippet grey bitch to a 10yr old f1 22tts bedlington x greyhound if you can be vouched for by any of the admin on the working bedlington group as genuine An not someone who as more dogs than hot dinners I'll hook you up mate only cost I'd require is chipping, worming to 8wks it's a repeat mating as my pup I kept from the previous litter was put to sleep sadly due to something out of my control. ps this is not a add for every man/woman thinking he can get a pup sorted fo
  16. thats my way of thinking mine as well it's only money
  17. Some of the replies to this post are f****d up as shit next were be hearing of up An coming lurcher lads/lasses neglecting there duties of care to there dogs once there dogs have had bad injuries just because they've heard on the hunting life forum we're all the real dog me hang out it's not the right way to go about things using a vet. ffs using a vet is a small price to pay if it fixes your valued tools to your trade it's only money!
  18. I'd say my 2 come in at about £450-500max a year to maintain
  19. Jeff burrel lurcher which he bred the dam which was to to a cracking whippet dog,he done everything single handily 24tts.jeff told me the story behind the dam I bought this at 10wks old for £ and one of the best £80s ever spent on a dog.he adapted to anything as he was that laid back then Jeff started knocking the same way bred pups out at £400. smart dog man barging dog for £ fair play mate
  20. Yesterday I put Jeff Burrell lurchers in the search engine and came across the add for the pups for £400 each ffs the breeders must have spent the day on a smack binge.it's like a game of Chinese wispers they gain 200 yrs of line breeding every time someone has a litter ffs there not even a line for a start with the amount of shit that's been added husky being one there a type that gets hyped up to drum up sales I feel sorry for some gullible fool that buys in to this shit
  21. nice one mate any pictures? I'm a big fan of the bedlington xs
