    as the title says as any one noticed lately how evey one is so concerned with what others are doing with there dogs an what they get up to an the crosses/dogs they use an what lines there out of an numbers of game being taken any one notice this? my view is who gives a f**k about others dogs an what there up to!!! to me working dogs is all about just being out there doing the job an watching me dogs work an enjoying working the dogs an having a good time

    ifirstly i agree that the whippet has made a massive comeback. and not before time. however not as a pure or hybred. imo the whippet is being used to bring down the size of the lurcher and to tidy up some of the more bulky types. whippets and the whippet crosses have a passionate following. despite being frail. shivery accident prone little things. the thing with lurchers is everytime someone crosses two breeds they tend to break all the rules. and the offspring get different qualities that dont exist in the parents. the above lurcher is half bred whippet turns like a b

    i used to use a propper slip lead an found it to be shit! to much f*****g about in the dark plus the dog triggered it on more than once an sliped its self now i use power straps like the ones lorry drivers use i bye them from b&q cut them to the size i want if they get lost no biggy they cheap as chips an work great no cutting in to your hands with the dog pulling
