makes me shudder when i think what we used to do digging the railway banks tunnelling in , my bro was in about 14 foot once and had a part collapse it was a good job we had a rope around his feet shit us up for a bit , we had a bad one couple of years back 26 ft through clay shale flint then into green sand real b***%*d of a dig i swore blind we were digging to a dead dog then the last 3 foot the box was going nuts they wanted out and she wasnt having it that 3 feet came out in seconds pulled the the dog threw her up shot the quarry and his mate and scrabbled out as it was collapsing i hate fc

out for the first time today the young jrt bitch is bouncing of the walls so took her out dropped in and had a nice 3 foot dig to 2 in the pot , i was most impressed she didnt fly in all gun ho and get smashed up perhaps shes listen to her mother and has the making of a good sensible dog heres to the next time lol -

i got a punture the other morning in my bentley at 330 on a sat morning the computer was tell ing me the left rear was low put 2 cans of tyre weld in it still wouldnt fix it so jacked it up got spare out and its a space saver ive seen bigger tryes on push bikes well fitted it and what a horrible drive home those things shouldn t be allowed on big heavy cars like mine it dangerous on the hunt now for a proper spare wheel atb top

my mate steve has about half a dozon glens which he swears work but ive never seen one they are fiesty basterds he seems to be going more to jrt s now so the glens cant be that good

The reason we put fell into our bedlingtons is to keep the size down and improve the coat , ive dogs here with really thick jackets you have a job to part it and find skin they can stand out all day in the rain shake and there almost dry , the fell works well for us , top

I have always maintained there is no such animal as a pure bedlington the same can be said of most terrier groups some people seem to think it has to have a silly haircut and tassles on it ears to be a bedlington but nothings further from the true at the end of the day its whats in the dog not what it looks like , you can put ribbons in its fur but if the dog has the minerals it will still work be it go to ground or muller rats

who care s if it has a bit of white on it , the dog doesnt stop working just because he may get the white bits dirty, just keep putting it in front of them they don t learn nowt shut in a kennel all day
