  1. Factory fitted is never the best . Its a decent on but there are much better about . Personally i think , mods , come into their own when u get custom ones made for " your barrel and set up " Ive had all the top mods , HW , Twink , ect , and they dont come near a custom. Nutshots are the dogs , and they , imo , will never be beaten simple because they are matched to suit your set up ! I have currently a Blodnob Shroud on my MFR and it will knock spots off anything you put against it , simply because it was made for my rig . Simply , all " off the shelf" mods are go
  2. I know competion shooters who used to use a ball bearing to seat their pellets . Pushed into the breech with a 5mm ball bearing ensured all pellets were seated in exactly the same depth for every shot . Just a process of elimination i guess , many differeing things to consider if u want each shot to be the same as the last
  3. You can all say what you want , BUT , Old Timmy`s right boys . You all take the piss and mock people , he`s probably had more pigeons than you lot will ever see ...... Just my 2 penny`s worth
  4. Crackin Daz , cant wait till the 13th , see how it performs against cabbage boys

  8. I did a search aswell , funny enough , took me 4 seconds too !!! You must be good with your previous air rifles , and having owned so many would have thought you`d know fox was a no no with air gun http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/306184-hi-all-new-member/
  9. I doubt that very much. Granted they have their advantages but are poorly constructed from monkey metal. Don't fettle or tune very well and parts are hard to come by. They call that being " Owned "
  10. Ill be there on the Sunday Dave , see u there mate
  11. And for the record , HW's although good , are not a patch on nuttys .
  12. If thats a comment about Nutshots , then im afraid your verymuch mistaken. Nutty makes them for friends and at cost price to him . Its the second hand value that sees them go through the roof , and only because their so good . Ive seen them go at £350 on e bay when hes probably made the very same one for £. So as i say , hes not the one that demands a high price BUT you get what you pay for....
  13. Yes a Nutshot ill be seeing him the weekend , ill tell him to make me a new one lmfao
  14. Nuttys are made specifically to suit each barrel . Sometimes their sold on and used on somthing their not made for , this DOES , make a difference .
  15. We`ve done this on the Rapid forum . Its best to test out side ( as noise bounces like mad indoors ) , approx 1 meter away from the muzzle . Background noise will also be taken into account . I tested my MFR in a small bedroom with phone right next to the muzzle of an unlaoded MFR . Background noise was 43 db and fired it was 76db . This is obviously quieter with a pellet in the breech .
