Just to hijack the thread I was told that the blades on these turbines are so finely balanced that a ball bearing from a catapult or a bullet would effectively destroy the turbine if it hit the blades ? Any truth in this, or is it bull**it? -

Never owned MTC but heard they can be fussy to look through. best bet is go in to your local shop and look through a few in your price range. Not all scopes suit all eyes. I like Hawke, they suit me just fine, got a Bushnell as well but a little fussy to line up with eye sight.

Axum, haven't you noticed something about Christian and muslim countries, something that stands out a mile. In general, Christian countries = progressive 21st century with relatively good hygiene, medical and education standards. Muslim countries = backward and medieval with no or very poor hygiene, medical and education standards. You don't hear many of the Christian countries we colonised moaning about being dragged into the civilised world do you ? Can't hear the states or the Aussies whinging. It's rumoured around here that all the possible sites for the new mosque they want to build in Dudley have already been "booby trapped" with pigs heads and blood, and they'll not tell them until thousands of pounds have already been spent on building. Cheap to do and effective, no security either until building starts. No way of finding out the facts, you just get rumours passed down the line. knowing folk around here though I tend to believe it.

UKIP for me, worst case is country goes bankrupt, nhs is crap and immigration soars. But we've already been there so what's new !!! Best case is they give the MP's a roasting and make them play fair, they cut immigration and they sort out the nhs by getting shut of mnon productive managers and having more nurses. At least they'll put the wind up the other parties and may make them buck their ideas up. it's a no brainer, got to be ukip. It didn't go as well as hoped , the wind was so strong it wasn't worth taking any sort of shot that wasn't very close range so I decided to go up to the woodland in search of squirrels and found a few that i introduced to some .22 hollow points , not a massive fan of eating squirrel so my friends owl has had them as a treat. And I may well have to take you up on the offer are you local to Somerset ? A couple of miles from Glastonbury, 4 miles from Hecks cider, 3 miles from Wilkins cider. Can't get any better than that! Was there accountability, or is it we just hear more about it nowadays due to the web? We wouldn't know about this if it wasn't for the net would we ? I think it's been going on for years, only now they can't hush it up. That's why the cops are finally bringing up old cases, they can't cover them up any longer and don't want to get caught out.

Some hoovers have a fitting on the exhaust that you can put the pipe on, it's so you can blow any blockages out the pipe. You don't see it so much on the new ones but older vacs had it on most of them. If it sucks air in it's got to blow air out, otherwise .................... BANG
