That is exactly why I only throw charges now admittedly I use a harrell measure but as I don't sort brass nor batch bullets or even neck turn I don't believe .1 of a grain will make much difference when I used to make 1000's of 9mm I used a dillion 450 and all charges where thrown by the machine never had a days trouble or cause to worry about the charge.I do however know that some small cased rounds are very picky and I guess as mike says the fireball is one of them

tried many electronic scales but still go back to my 505's as I trust them that said I only use scales to set up my powder thrower then once set I just check it periodically maybe once every 300 rounds.

It is unlikley that you will be able to break into keepering at a later time it is hard enough as it is for lads out of college let alone the many good keepers that have been made redundant of late my advice is if you can't work out whether gamekeeping is worth getting into or not then it aint for you.

Yes mate I used to use holdem mix but to be honest it made no difference at all for all the extra cost If you want to use something I would get split maize it is a lot cheaper and the birds go mad for it -
right or wrong I blame the germans for this mate they took an entire generation of brave men from us and left a generation of children being raised by their mothers not that they did a bad job but they raised them with a different attitude than they would have had with a fathers been there and now we see the results a couple of generations down the line.

I have that book stig thanks anyway.Im almost 50 years old,never played a computer game in my life,cant stand the bloody things.Im blue in the face from looking at tv.Graham thats a disgusting idea I was out for a ten minute walk stig,lol. why not get a net making kit and knock up some purse nets or a long net or maybe get a knife making kit

Had both will never buy chameau again had them replaced under warranty 3 times till they gave me my money back absolute shite but the meindels are spot on wear them every day to work and would happily buy another pair -
