    Engemycin is antibiotic far better than anything you can buy from scatts etc it is the same active ingredient as terramycin which is oxytetracycline the stuff from scats is antiseptic not antibiotic

    Absolutely - Helen Benson, but it's the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust job register, not NGO. Originally I believe Helen ran it on a voluntary basis but the job register is now part of the range of services GWT provide for gamekeepers, stalkers, ghillies and their dependants. If you've been (or may be) made redundant, the GWT can provide much more than just the job register - phone their Helpline and talk to them on 01677 470180. So if you ring the number as advertised by the ngo does it not put you through to helen benson then?

    folks have asked me for pups before and when asked if it would be worked they say they just want a pet thats when I tell them I can't let them have one cause they would have to sign the docking form to say the dog will be worked.

    Experience mate thats what counts, time on a gamefarm,helping keepers and beating if you have the right work ethic you will shine through and above the lads with an armful of qualifications it also helps that you are married as single lads have no ties so can disappear at a moments notice. be prepared for loads of nockbacks but keep at it is just a case of applying for everything and hope that you get an interveiw

    I am afraid when it comes to keepering the job market is f****d these colleges keep on churning out lads with qualifications promising a job at the end but the fact is that there just isn't the jobs for those that want them given that a lot of good experienced keepers have been made redundant just of late as well just makes it harder, not many keepers are moving about at the moment either making the best of what they have rather than risk moving and it possibly being no better.Employers are also being careful cause most are sick to death of taking on lads as want to keeper then they jack after

    What you have written there is pretty much the same for me I had a cocker who wouldn't listen after 100 yards before that she was hard on the whistle but try and handle her past the 100 yard mark and on came the ear defenders 3 corrections with a pac collar and she has never needed correction again and 5 years on she is still sharp as a tack on the whistle no matter the distance
