    I just dont understand some folks on here I am a crap parent I resent the time energy and money my kids demand I am honestly jealous of the devotion my wife lavishes on them yet they mean everything to me the shouts of daddddddy and hugs from them when I come home are worth more than I can describe, so are the sacrifices worthwhile damned right they are, will I always do all I can to protect them too right,would I leave them alone at home,hotel or anywhere else NOT A f***ing CHANCE when it comes to my kids doing the right thing is the only option and whilst accidents will happen I know it will

Not quite the same but part of my shepherds sch training is tracking and article indication now I am nowhere near the level of the dogs used out there but when my dog indicates or follows a track its easy to tell from his demeanor if its a false indication or not I only do it for fun these guys do it for a living they would have a fair idea if the dog was right or no

    You may not see the point in waste but to others the point of the exercise is not to produce a harvest but to actually remove vermin I have no respect for what I kill I give it no second thought there is no need for sentiment I'm paid and expected to do a job I enjoy that is killing vermin and producing game for others to kill my harvest is the money in the bank at the end of the month and my only concern is that what I do is humane and when it comes to making things dead you can never have too much gun.

    I will never understand how folks say they kill but with respect I mean what a load of bollocks they animals have no concept of respect nor do they care for it, they do not worry that their carcase is made use of nor do they worry that you use the pretence of respect to salve your conscience, now you can piss and whinge and question others morality but the fact is however you dress it we kill for fun-enjoyment the how, where and why make no difference to those we chose to kill.

    Well I use my .222,.223, 25-06 and 300rum for shooting long range rabbits my ticket has aolq attached to all my calibres why do it well I enjoy it my ammunition is free and it makes a change from bunny bashing with the .22 or shotgun at work so I say get the 204 and crack on mate it will do the job just fine.

    Started last friday went well for first time through this friday could be fun though its a 400 bird day and the forecast gives a 30-35mph plus north easterly which makes these birds bloody hard. How did you get on mate?

    I disagree BH the only reason coursing is a priority is because the rspca are so involved with the police we all know they act like they have the power of the plod already and I'm damned sure its them who are pulling the strings lets be honest farmers and keepers have had hassle since well before the ban it aint nothing new and we are well used to dealing with it so just who is making the police prioritize coursing.

    Personally I wouldn't buy the 770 cause by the time youve upgraded the ir and added a drbobs doubler your too near the price of an archer which will knock spots off the 770 I have a 550 with doubler and nightmaster nm800ir its easily good for fox over 250 yards but I only paid 700 notes for the full kit if I had to pay full whack then I'd get the archer every time.

    The vet here said tail docking would be £100 per pup wtf is that all about? £85 for the certificate and £15 for the actual procedure, joke!! Bloody hell mate it's 7 pound a pup including cert down here

    Its old school I know but I still expect decent keen young lads to tag along and learn the trade before they get the tools to do the job those that stay the course are worth helping the rest are and will always be messers.

    i am regularly offered working stock. but your right i would rather buy in than cull good quality well bred prospects..i have no problem with culling the crap. its the wasted prospects that are culled that i feel is a waste. better to give a young en one for a couple of notes as far as i see it. if folk dont like makeing money of a dogs back fair does. give it to cancer research.     I still disagree with a shotgun it is still important to worry about your back stop and thats speaking as some one who has been shot more than once by wayward guns on driven days

    Plus you don't have the worry of a background, only the max travel which is limited. So we never have to worry about background with a shotgun then so shooting into say a hedge or over an unsighted brow is fine you really type some pish on here at times

    Some time ago there was a thread about culling litters and most folks was up in arms infact I got some shit and a couple of pm's threatening me though the big men never did show so I'll say it again lol, breed for your own needs and the betterment of your line, gift to trusted mates and cull the rest anything else is pedling folks can kid themselves on but thats what it is plain and simple
