  1. Nah it wasnt, it was a shite shot. Should have had her eye out. Lieing, nosey F**ckers..
  2. Looks like them camping washing lines out of the pound shop. Like a smaller version of cable pulling rope, only it looks like a solid twine rather than a multi strand. Quite stiff I would imagine, to stop it tangling and to help the shite swivels work properly.
  3. Nice one for the heads up. Gonna give it a go when my books turn up.
  4. Nice mate. Im gonna give a squirell a go soon.
  5. I snapped a 3lb tc chub outkast, and chub being a sister company to hardy and greys, gave me the same treament. What a load of wank. All that "world wide lifetime guarentee" Aint worth the paper its printed on. I ended up getting another pair second hand, so now I have spare sections and plenty of spare eyes.
  6. is diawa still as popular today hawki ......... It was all the rage in the 80's .....to me and my mates anyway ... So was wychwood I`d take Diawa over wychwood any day though, especially if theres zips involved. Ive still got my first carp rods, a pair of Diawa Emblems with big foamy handles.... Hmmm nice.
  7. Gather the meshes together and cut next to the knots on the row below the slip. Un-pick the tag ends of the knots (piece of cake with a horse shoe nail) rejoin your twine and you ready to go again. Cut the knots one at a time or you might make the cut in the wrong place. I used to unpick everything when I had a slip, but the time it takes, I found your better off cutting it away. Hope it makes sense. You will know which row to cut as the slip will line up with the row thats got to come off.
  8. Always the last to know. Spose it happens if you dont use facebook these days.

  9. Its alright if your taking the nippers out, but stockies are a pain in the arse when your after something bigger. With them only just being stocked, do you think they`ll be acclimatized and feeding yet?
  10. I phoned the police last night to say there was someone breaking into and stealing from my shed, to which they replied, Im sorry, theres no one in the area someone will be there as soon as possible. So I rang back a minute later and said not to worry, Ive just shot both of them. Within minutes there was 3 cars, 2 vans and a helicopter. One copper said, I thought you said you shot them, and I said, I thought there was no one in the area....

  12. How long does it take to line a bitch though? Bunk up in the morning, down a tube by thi`savvy surely? Is it true you didnt even go round the yard though?
  13. Didnt know that... Time will tell, my cuckoo marans I hatched out last year have all come into lay now. Im getting fairly dark, spotted eggs, nothing like some of the almost black ones Ive seen. If you cant find what you want K, I`ll be running my incubator for a good part of the year now as of 18 days ago, so if you want me to hatch anything in particular, give us a shout.
  14. Thats it bud. Its only money. He does his own hybrid blue egg layer up there, maybe cheaper than the legbar.
  15. Nope, but your paying for them to be reared and laying. It would prob cost you the same if you bought eggs and hatched them. Im pretty sure if you spent enough, he`d do you a deal, he did when I got the turkeys and ross last august.
  16. What a cnut. Bang out of order.
  17. Chalkhill poultry is on the borders of dorset, hant and wilts, they got them, or usually do. Dont know how far from you it is though. www.chalkhillpoultry.co.uk
  18. I was speaking to my Mrs mate yesterday about this, shes a vet nurse. She said her practice would do it, but you need proof its going to be a working dog, I.E a shotty ticket, I pressume, what other documentation could prove this? Surely all that proves is the breeder does a bit, not where the pups are going? She also said they would not do rotti`s as they are originally a Pastoral? breed. (herding breed.) I guess its all about location, and a vet that understands the countryside.
  19. My mates bang into these, has been for the last 18 months. I used to poo poo them on the grounds, that not knowing what was in the juice, whos to say that 5 years down the line, there maybe a vape induced type of cancer, but like he said, surely the few chemicals in the juice are less harmful than the 100`s in fags. Im tempted.. I was round his house the other day, when he said he was expecting the guy who makes the modifications and juices, met him through ebay as he lived local... Turns out its only my old tattooist, he come off his motorbike and naffed his hand, so thats what hes gon
  20. Try www.brisa.fi mate. They got some nice blanks, reasonably priced.
  21. Have you tried any of the farms over portsdown hill? Like I said, most of it is sewn up round here. Apart from the odd bit of fence hopping locally, I have to travel to Romsey for my permission..
  22. this is 1 of the best travel rods money can buy ,ive had tarpon barracuda etc .they will handle almost any fish within reason I left mine on some bellends boat and next time I see him, he was all "sorry" The tip seems to be missing... Ive sorted the tip now, its just a bit stiffer. I paid £15 for the rod and cant fault it. If I needed another, I`d pay the 60,70 or whatever they want these for it these days. Ive stalked carp with it on the surface and the bottom, cast small dead baits and plugs with it, spun for bass with it. The list goes on. Can`t fault it. Nice short cork handle too.
  23. Cant believe no ones been in touch bud. You advertised this job a few weeks back didnt you.
  24. I got a second hand shimano exage travel rod, you can fish it at 8ft or at 10ft. It comes in a zip top hard tube. About 700mm long. Cant fault it really, I use it for all sorts. Never really thought much of telescopics, I had a few snap off at the butt section when I was a kid, left them alone as an adult.
