cracking looking lurcher dont worry about it mate my mrs said no more dogs or ime gone that was 40 years ago and her and the dogs are still with me . not the same dogs though lol.
-
makes you wonder who sell all the dogs then lol.
-
it doesnt mtter what you sell dogs horses cars food whatever you want .no matter how many satisfied customers you have you rarely hear about them but woe betide having one or two disgruntled customers the whole world and some will hear about it if you buy a pup at 7 or 8 weeks old imo its up to you what you make of it after. good bad or indifferant . give a good dog man the worst bloodline in the world and a bad dogman the best bloodline and i know which dog my money would be on turning out the best dog .
-
me personally if going down that road would prefer bull greyhound to straight greyhound less chance of them being cloddy and on the heavy side but thats just my opinion nice dog in the photo mind and should make a cracker with time patience and a bit of luck.

to be fair to the writers in there other than ratting or ferreting their hands are tied i was talking to one of them a fornight ago and they had had a brilliant day with the dogs but nothing that you could write about in a magazine in todays climate without a lawsuit coming down on you but i still think the magazinr is rubbish and basically a ad mag for companies selling their goods but in fairness most sporting or feildsports mags are the same no matter what countrysport your into .

hyperthetical question here boys and or girls so what your saying is if your young child or grandchild needed food or clothes and the only way to get it for them was to sell one of your dogs your saying you wouldnt do it .as much as i love my dogs my kids and now my grandchildren would always come first no question or thinking needed. and i could prove how much my dogs mean to me but ille save it for another time .

never is a long time when the bills are piling up and no money coming in . especially if you have just lost your job after 28 years ime talking from experience here.

seen hares on the lamp so easy they havnt got a clue where their running also seen them make fun of good dogs and run away from them. i used to lamp them but not for a long long time much prefer to leave them for the day but although i dont like or want to lamp them ime not going to be hypocritical to tell someone else not to the goverment does enough of that shit . each to their own i say and enjoy what you do . just remember to treat whatever your hunting with respect and dont kill it just because its in front of you and easy meat . ime not talking obviously about pest control thats diff

cracker mike hope its livelier than you lol have to get tracy to kick your butt into gear lol.

if you got young pups keep the lamp on especially at night and in the day if its at all chilly bit of expence but worth every penny of the bill if you value your pups . and i dont mean you but if anyone does begrudge the extra bit of expense they shouldnt be rearing a litter anyway.

try and find a freindly farmer that will let you walk among the sheep with the dog on a short lead and reprimand her every time it takes any notice of the sheep. try and do it every chance you get could be a long drawn out procedure but only you can decide if its worth the time and effort . its much easier to do when their a young pup but it can still be done but even when their stock broken if they havnt been since a puppy i find you always have to watch them and be on your gaurd when around sheep especially now at lambing time .

and thats surmising that the salukix greyhound collie greyhound are first crosses to start with what i would say is you should end up with some racy usefull pups putting that back to a greyhound .

i dont know how it would work because you cant insure a racing greyhound also the owners its being brought out for will just abandon the dog if they got caught and say its nothing to do with them and not their dog because half of them dont even insure their cars as it is . also if your out of work is it somethong else you could claim for thereby putting more financial help on the goverment ime 56 never insured a dog in my life and dont intend to start now the only time ive had trouble over a dog was one one of my greyhounds bit a neighbours staffie that was off the lead and ran at my grey -
i was wondering that as well cos i got one as well.

cracking dog adam .a mate of mine used to have a leggy full collie and never really trained him to the lamp but on the odd occasions he came out took to it like a duck to water spud the collie was helluva fighter as well would fight any dog that came near him on the farm also took the odd fox thinking back would have been ideal to breed lurchers with because as i said very leggy and tall for a full collie .atb.

the old saying was go in a boy and come out a man the trouble now is more and more are not coming home .all wars are dirty but this is something else .lets hope it ends soon somehow and they all come home safe FINGERS CROSSED .

the origenal lambourn was the best bar none every kind of lurcher you could imagine and every kind of lurcher owner you could imagine . and i would think that at that time there wasnt many lurchers there that wasnt doing the job they were origanelly intended for either .
