    had them all toyota the best but thirsty. vitara will go anywhere and the deisel cheap to run plus can get parts anywhere new or secondhand also plenty of room in thelwb even without the seats dropped chalky for what you require vitara would suit you fine. and scottishlass freelander smarter looking vehicle but vitara better vehicle for what you want .

    i remember years ago was lamping a estate near to where i live and my collie greyhound knocked herself out on a tree stump going down to pick up a rabbit. when she came round as we were carrying her back to car she started wailing like a banshee this was 3 oclock in the morning and the noise was unbelievable took her straight to the vet who we had to knock up and they phoned the police because of banging on the door had some explaining to do that night but laughed about it later.

    bought a pair of expensive wellies at the midlands 4 year ago and still got them . like slippers to wear warm and very very comfortable and these on here are much better again than mine .would snap them up if the wonga wasnt short at the mo .

    swam my greyhound leading up to the welsh derby and overdid it and he didnt lift a leg lost to greyhounds that genuingly couldnt live with my boy. swam him in a spa with a pump to rush the current against him 10 minutes and he was knackered.

    i always say the dog/bitch only has to please one person thats the one that owns it and judging by some of the comments on here thats hard enough. but i will say this theres not a dog that wins a comp like pepsi has that i would even consider anything but a cracking dog .

    whippet 99 you obviously dont take in what you read as the posts say the dogs get their normal walk before the car training as my old granny used to say you cant educate pork only cure it .

    i believe a differance of opinion is a good thing it helps you to see other points of veiw its when it gets personal and vindictive it pisses me off because we are all on the same side after all.

    to those that thinks its lazy your wrong i train my greyhounds like it twice a week this is after they have had their normal walk .in the car you can regulate the pace to get the dogs breathing right and its dangerous to let the passenger do it out of their window because the driver needs to be keeping a eye on the dog in case he stops or breaks from a walk by the time your passenger tells you its to late you have allready yanked their neck. i halso use this to get the lurchers fit pre seaon . i do it on a quiet industrial site or up on the mountain road always at night because tou can see o

    cooper 101 your post brings back memories quite a few years ago we went out lamping with someone on his ground as he called it we came to a football feild with brand new fencing all the way round and he pulled out a hand held bowcrops and started slitting the fence about 3 ft of it to get in when i asked wheres the gate he replied oh f**k that its right round the other side he continued to walk and cut the wire every time we came to a fence when i asked him how he got permission when he was doing this to all the fencing he replied oh its not permission just where i run my lurchers. needlaess
