Landscape and terrain plays a massive part. Height ultimately is needed to consistantly pull down bigger quarry, but not as much as many think, a big heart can make up for not so big legs. The x or breeding is infinate in its possibility also. As for height and speed, speed at different times is what its about, i.e a a bigger dog may run faster over 50 or 100 yards, but not over 20 yards. And again different terrain and land also has a big e

  6. pretty much every subject has been covered at some point so what do you want everyone to do, just sit there doing searches without ever putting anything new on? No but i think you will find that 'show us ur bull x's' has been done a fair few times more than most other topics and there is one posts with about 200 pages of photos.
  7. Few wiser words spoken my friend. Sometimes you have to do it, but its a rough job and leaves a bitter taste. I can't understand the people who post pictures of it on internet sites. Like you said, i guess they just want to be seen to be killing bunnys by the other folk, and think that the kills will earn them respect and acknowledgment, when in fact the opposite is of course true. I've caught kits by hand before, your right if you move slow and calm, you can get within a couple of yards, and i've never liked shooting anything that just sits there staring at you, thats what slaughter men d
  8. Stoats and weasels are part of the Mustelidae family, as are otters/badgers/martens/polecats/minks & black footed ferrets and of course our domesticated ferrets, even mongoose and meercats are related. Many professionals agree that 'raw meat' diets for ferrets need supplementation. Considering the ferrets you have in your ownership now are 'domesticated' ferrets, in the sense that ferrets have been domesticated for around 2000 years now, they do not have a 'natu

  14. Aye mate the running in circles is probably them chasing a half dozen kits about, going from one to the next, not bolting them, it's a f****r, and why i stop, the little b*****ds don't bolt and if they do they just sit by the whole until old snapper comes out and drags them back down to the depths.
