  1. Cheers lee. Will be using it for both hopefully. Will probably pick up a cheap (£100-£125) second hand gun to start with then move up the price range in a year or so
  2. Money is always a problem I'll drop into chichester armory on the way home.
  3. Thanks all for the advice, got a good idea on what to pick up now. Hope to chat to you guys a lot more in the future
  4. Hi All I'm in the process of getting my shotgun licence. Got the form filled out and ready to send, im no the trail of a cabinet and my springer is ready and waiting for me (he doesnt realise he wont be needed for a while but dont tell him that) but thought I would ask the more experienced on which gun i should be looking at. Ive done a little bit of clay shooting but fully intend on turning that into a lot of clay shooting and then later on a friend of mine has told me he will take me out on his permissions with him.
  5. Shame your so far from me, I would have had both of these.
  6. been doing that for well over a year but will keep trying. dont know if it will make a difference but im gonna borrow my mates land rover and use that to visit the farms lol
  7. fair enough. when i originally posted the question the wound was still pretty raw from getting my first perm stolen so the cogs in my head were running overtime.
  8. ok this might be a stupid question but i have seen alot of threads where people say they "went for a quick walk through the woods" either shooting squirrels or whatever. are these woods on peoples permission? usually when someone goes shooting at a permission they say they are going to a permission but when its a walk through the woods there is no mention of the word permission. maybe im just getting sick of mine or my friends back garden and the fact i had my permission pinched before i had the chance to shoot on it, but im gagging to get out and do some "different" shooting cheers al
  9. ive had 6 of these (plus 2 sj410's) and i love them. i dont think there is an easier vehicle to modify and fix yourself using very few tools. plus they are more than capable of going anywhere you want them to as long as you know how to drive them. looking to get a lwb for my next one, watch this space.
  10. what a read! well done lads, it was awe inspiring reading through that!
  11. cheers mole didnt think of that at the time, probably due to the rage running through me, but makes alot of sense
  12. im guess he must have known them, family/friends/drinking buddies who knows
  13. last week i bagged my first permission after well over a year of trying. so thought id better go and get a new scope (any excuse to give the missus ). anyway attached the new scope a couple of nights ago and it just needed zero'ing. called the man at the permission about 15:30 today to see if it was ok to visit tonight and zero there before i went and tried for a few bunnies. he then tells me he gave a couple of other guys permission a few days ago and would prefer it if only one set of people had permission at a time so took my permission away. i was so angry i was shaking but managed to kee
